Finished FW. Kind of a sh*t ending. Oh well, onto Burning Loins.
Yeah the story was pretty bad, it makes me want them to just dump this IP for a while and move on to something else after the DLC launches.

For some reason, I'm not really interested in this as much after seeing what's been shown so far. It just looks like the same coastal area I've already played through. Some reviews are saying the story is around 5 hours and total completion 7-8 hours. I will definitely get it at some point.

Be sure to freshen up on your controls before you start the DLC. You should be prompted to start Burning Shores so long as you choose your last save you have (assuming you finished the game). You can fast travel to Burning Shores if you want, otherwise it says the distance is 4000.

If you played the game, this seems like you just picked up where you left off but onto a new mission. So far it's pretty good. Aloy still likes to talk and talk!

How the graphics though ?

It looks good, but not the best (IMO). But more importantly, the game play is enjoyable and it is.

Looks like some that have already finished said it's a 5 hour campaign, and now they are working on side stuff.

You need to have completed the main game to play it. Doesn't it have a poor completion rate?

AND the full game needs to be reinstalled if you removed it when you finished it. 117GB DLC download if you did. Completion rate is 29% "Rare".

Almost 30% completion rate is good for a multi million seller like HFW. Just purchased will download when I get back. Need to redownload the whole game though ugh.

Odd that Sony isn't mentioning sales of HFW :(. And 29% completion isn't very good.

Common theme now days. Lots of games with low completion rates for whatever reason.

Good enough to hit top 10 list of most completed PS exclusives list.

Probably sold well but not as well as Sony hoped with ER overshadowing it.

I don't think people were as hyped for this game after it released as they were the first one, the story is nowhere near as good. I bought the DLC and already see lazy writing again lol, it looks great but the base game did too.

Played through and got past the first part. Graphics are definitely the best out there right now. I was switching between 40 fps native 4k and 60 fps dynamic 4k and before I started, I thought I may prefer the 40 fps more because of the best of both worlds fidelity and performance combined with 120 Hz mode on. But after several back and forth, performance 60 fps with VRR still feels the best to play and it also looks really good still. Part of that is the quicker input response that I love that swayed me.
