Was there ever any doubt?

Glad to see Hulst got promoted to Layden's old position. He helped create my favorite game of the generation. Good to have a guy in that position who's been deeply involved in game creation, rather than just a corporate management type.

Depending on how TLoU2 turns out, Horizon will probably go down as my favorite PS4 game as well. At least from the 1st party studios.

What's your GOTG overall?

It's a 3 way tie between Horizon, RDR2 and Ghost Recon: Wildlands (even with all of its issues). All of them have everything I care about in video games.

Ghost Recon: Wildlands

As much as I want them to go back to the Ghost Recon Summit Strike formula, I still love Ghost Recon Wildlands. It's a long damn game too, at least is for me. I am still trying to finish but I am getting there.

I stopped playing it 2 months after it released and had to come back to it 5 months later to finish it. Not because I was bored of it, but due to it being so long. It's the same with a lot of the Ubi games for me.

Easily my favorite PS4 game. Probably even favorite game of the generation unless I'm just not thinking on enough games this gen.

Incredible looking game. HZD still is top 3 in terms of visuals. My issue with the game was the lack of dynamic gameplay. Physics limited. AI terrible. Lots of invisible walls. It did have a solid foundation so I want to know if they're going to use that CPU to improve it's shortcomings.

Honestly I'm hesitant to believe this trailer was in engine and not CG, looks great. Definitely the #1 game I'm looking forward to...

in-engine is a purposefully misleading word to make people think realtime in-game.

In engine just means it ran in a game engine, actually FPS can be 5. Or it can run on super supped-up PC that can power a small town.

Best is take anything you see with a bit of skepticism & have realistic expectations.

Edit; The underwater scene looks really good.Having said that, I hate swimming, even more so diving in games. They generally suck. AT least she has a O2 mask & not one of those games you need to hold your breath...

Can't wait. The first game was refreshing. Graphics will be top of the class like the first, just waiting to see what they have improved on. I had no issues with gameplay for the first.

I feel like if it launches in 2021 it would be closer to Nov. My gut says 2022.

I feel like that only makes sense of covid is causing legit problems which is believable. Otherwise I don't get why it would take them 5 years when they did the first in much less while building a new engine too.
