Yeah I was going to post this too.

Also I'm sure people want to experience the next gen version on the PS5 so there could be others who would wait to upgrade to PS5 before getting it too.

The report also shows that almost half of Horizon: Forbidden West's sales were digital downloads from the PSN Store. According to the GSD data, the figure was around 49% that consisted of digital sales. In comparison to the previous game's launch, the digital sales of this game were double of Horizon: Zero Dawn when it first launched back in 2017.

This is no surprise, considering that it was reported that a vast majority of PlayStation's game sales were through the digital store last year. Some of these figures can be attributed to the launch of Sony's next-gen console, the PS5, with the brand continuing to gain popularity as time goes on. The GSD report even notes that 67% of the digital sales for Horizon: Forbidden West were specifically for the PS5 version of the game. With healthy sales and positive critical reception, Horizon: Forbidden West is turning out to be a stand-out title in the PlayStation library.

IMO, Ghost of Tsushima looks better, their art direction is S tier
I disagree when it comes to the actual fidelity and overall quality, the art style? sure that's totally subjective but I think in every other way H:FW looks significantly better. I think GoT is a better game than H:FW though but that's another story.

I'm one of those waiting to upgrade to PS5.

Might pull the trigger on it over the Holiday break.

Which d are ya gonna get, digital or disk?

Watch, after you buy it they announce and release the ps5 slim, and could’ve got the one you bought at a 50 dollar equivalent discount.
Either is fine.

If it happens it happens, isn't a big deal to me.

I agree that it's technically much more advanced and has more detail, geometry, etc. BUT, I find GoT much more pleasant to look at. I really dislike a LOT of the design and art direction in FW. It's really noisy and weirdly cramped feeling to me.

Yeah I think they need to stop making Horizon games and move on personally. They went in a really weird direction with the sequel and the story just sucked. I loved the side characters and they did a great job handling side missions but aloy and the main story were just blah. Ghost of Tsushima does look very good though and I'm excited to see what a PS5 only sequel would look like.

I think they do a third one, which would give them three games plus a VR game. Then move on to something else. I think Sony could use a FPS exclusive in the rotation, which Guerilla can do.
