Horizon: Zero Dawn

Sounds good. Otoh, I half-bought the hype over how great Killzone's story was going to be, and that fell flat, so I'm going to take a wait-and-see approach.

All the people with an old PS4 are gonna be pissed when all the footage comes from the 4k, lol.
 
This is what i'm talking about. You want to start releasing new hardware every 3 years now when good games take 2-3 years to make? It's going to screw everything up. Horizon was definitely pushed back because of PS4 Neo.

Did DC, UC4, and, The Order and most every other big time sony exclusive get pushed back because of neo too? :p
 
The Last Guardian was delayed so it could be released on the Playstation 4 Neo Geo.
 
Out of the games Sony delayed Horizon makes the most sense. This game is apparently comparable to Witcher 3 in scale, and with the dynamic combat and scenarios it is pushing the combat in RPG's forward. There is so much we have yet to see, different regions in the world like tundras, towns to explore and combat against other humans. If this game needs to be delayed to 2017, let them as it will be worth it.

It was also their most exciting 2016 game to many.
 
Bummer for people who were looking forward to it this holiday. Delays are always good for a game, though.

No doubt about that. Horizon is the first I.P to me and many which resembles something like Mass Effect and Bioshock did last gen. Something genuinely exciting and different.

Yeah, especially when a studio is branching out and doing something different from their usual work like this.

More like the PS5 Alpha Omega by the time it comes out.

But on a more serious note. I like how this is an official game thread but we're talking about hardware upgrades. This gen is a fail.

Sonys usually delays a couple of "holiday" games every year for nearly a decade
 
I wasn't saying I didn't enjoy exclusives on other platforms I am saying that only on the PS4 have exclusives I looked 4ward 2 actually lived up the hype IMO except KZSF.

What's so special about this insider that people take as gospel? Just wonderi. And yea I agree Sony excllusives are more interesting but Sony has had their fair share of flops.

Well PS4 exclusives are in development for 10 years. So I guess they should be better.

Horizon Zero Dawn coming this fall? Do we think this picture is legit? If true why would Sony advertise for a game coming out in seemingly 2017.

Do you think its coming this year? I don't need a insider to tell me its not making 2016.
I know they have some flops that's why I named KZSF.
