I deactivated my facebook and instagram last week. I am chill.

The qanon freaks/anti-vaxxers/non-"sheeple" that get their marching orders from facebook must be going nuts.

Okay serious question. If Oculus is basically a part of Facebook, could things like this affect Users?

Its possible, it uses a facebook account if i remember correctly. Thats why i stayed away from it.

I'm seriously going to setup a MySpace. I don't know if my original account is probably dead / purged. lol

I also want to see how it's been changed.

As for why it died, I think it allowed way to much StartUp media options like music starting to play or videos. Autopay Audio is a turnoff and annoying. On the other hand, Facebook barely allows anything on a person's Page besides profile pic and wallpaper.

Meta has no grounds to quit Europe and the fact that they're stomping their feet at not being able to sell users data is a bit ridiculous, even for them. They can't rely on American boomers forever, especially as younger generations mostly don't use the platform.

I feel like they're probably being hit the hardest by What's App in Europe, as I'm pretty sure that's still the most common messaging app over there.
