With both the Xbox One and PS4 been out for a month now how have you been buying your game now?

I like having a collection. So disks still.

Obviously I will buy digital games as well. But not full retail games.

So far on my X1 it's been a mixture of both. The big retail games I own have been discs but if course I buy digital only games as well.

-If digital-only games are not available on the disc, then digital it is.

-If retail games, then discs.

-If retail games free (Games with Gold especially), then I'm willing to get digital versions.

EDIT: Is this for Xbox One/PS4 only? Because I do not have them at the moment. However I probably will treat them the same with my 360/PS3 when it comes to buying games.

Still disc form when possible. Either to add to collection or just trade them in when done.

99% digital. There's no reason to go back to physical as a PC gamer unless it's for the odd CE/LE with really cool swag. I backup my game collection to my 1TB external every couple weeks and if my PC dies it's a matter of xfering them back or to a new PC when it's ready.

Disc mostly. I like to trade and sell them back when I'm done with the game so I can buy more games with the recycled money.

Didn't MS say they're thinking about allowing gamers to, somehow, sell/trade digital games?

Discs if it has a disc, DL if it's digital only game.

With discs, you can always sell it back if it;'s a console game. Stores never take PC disc games so going DL only isn't a big deal. And just like the old days, few people want to risk buying a PC game used.

I see myself buying less digital XBL/Indie games though. There's no mandatory demo/trial for them, so I won't bother unless I see it for a 75% cheap deal or I know it's a good game to get. I bought lots of XBL and Indie game based on testing out the demo first. Without that, I won't bother, especially with ultra low budget Indie games which probably have a 10% good/90% garbage rate.

For those touting the ability to sell back games as a plus over digital, you have to remember that the largest consumer of DD games is (more than likely) the Steam user.

You pay $60 (+tax) for a game and if you're lucky with deals and so forth you get $35, but the average on a good day is $30. So you just paid $30 for a game that you no longer own.

Meanwhile, thanks to Steam, I'm buying AAA titles a few months after release for $30 (no tax) and keeping it forever.

So do yourselves a favor if you're a console only gamer, DEMAND that Sony and MS mirror Steam with their DD models. Do what you feel you have to do to get them to so it, just get them to do it. We'll all be better off.

All digital for me. Just more convenient to have all my games on my hard drive. I never sell my games back anyway.

I'll probably stick to discs when I get my next gen systems. I remember people complaining about the download speed and the annoyance of having to wait, wait, wait, wait, and wait just to be able to play the game..

I can see myself going all digital in the future. But let me say it felt good to sell back garbage games like GOW Judgment and get back some of my wasted money.
