Can't say I'm overly excited about any of them. Mainly because it's all games from 2013. For the most part, I would think most people who wanted the game got it already. I'm presuming that it's simply a quick and cheap way to grab more dollars. Diablo 3, Tomb Raider, Rayman Legends, and I saw Skyrim get hinted at earlier. These are games that didn't really need a port. It's not some huge jump we're seeing after all. We've even seen Nintendo throw their HD remake hat into the arena with Wind Waker HD and Ocarina of Time 3D, although these are at least a generation or more apart. I liked that MS brought Killer Instinct back from the dead and gave it an awesome makeover that only a few seem to have a problem with, visually speaking. I'd certainly would like to see them pursue this road a bit more. Jet Force Gemini HD would be awesome in my book. That said, the ports seem to be pretty good quality overall. Can't complain on that end. Shame Fable Anniversary couldn't get a port released on the X1 when Feb. hits. That's the kind of port/remake we need to see more of in my opinion.

I haven't played either of the games you mentioned since I was pretty much on a gaming hiatus a while back. Now getting back, PS+ is churning out some very nice free titles and with these definitive editions coming out for next-gen consoles, it's going to be a busy gaming year.

Only port/remake I'm banking on is the rumored Halo 2 remake for the Xb1.
Walls of Jizz if that turns out to be true and if done right. :bang:

Still the best Halo IMHO.

Also probably Tomb Raider on the PS4 and that is it.

Looking forward to Tomb Raider never played it last gen so buying the PS4 version.

These kind of ports were always going to happen, but games like Tomb Raider have made a pretty big effort with their remake and while the gameplay will be the same, the graphics have seen a huge improvement. Would it be better to have new games and IPs, sure but we're still early in a new gen and we do not want rushed products, do we ? So I'm fine with companies trying to pad out their bank balance with remakes, while making new games simultaneously.

I'd Gamefly them. I'd definitely gamefly the s*** out of a remake of skyrim. I want to play that game again anyways.

I actually didn't get to do all that much gaming in 2013, so I missed out on every one of these titles. I'm ok with it. I definitely look forward to Diablo 3 and Tomb Raider on X1.

If it's a game I haven't played then hell yea give me the better version.

In my case it's a good thing. I only have a very limited amount of gaming time and I have not played many of these games. If I get chance now to play them with enhancements, I won't complain.

It doesn't bother me when it comes to games like Skyrim, GTAV, Halo 2, Tomb Raider, etc.. You know the big heavyweight type games or at least the ones I consider to be heavyweight by my taste.

I don't mind ports. There's a ton of games that I missed out on so they give me the opportunity to try something that's still fresh and new. Plus, I ultimately have the final say in whether or not I buy a game, haha.

If you're reading this Nintendo, a Majora's Mask port/remake on the 3DS would be welcomed with open arms.
