watGood looking game but not much else to do in an open world game. Maybe would have been better if it was a tight linear experience.
You really don't know what your talking about. Its good to know the developers didn't have to use all of that tiny little pool of RAM to get it done though. Looking forward I wish they would have went with a true 8gb of GDDR5 instead. Even then thats not much at all considering what these next gen games will be needing, and sadly thats the only technical strength of the console, and it was cut basically in half

The advantage is from the rams bandwidth not the amount. 4.5 is plenty right now, and if in the future it is not, Sony will free up more of the reserve.pretty self explanatory. the ps4's real advantage is its ram, and its cut in half. Damn sure isn't that cpu, or even gpu, both are old technically.

Good thing developers asked for double the ram. Can you imagine if Sony would have shipped with 4 GB like they originally planned?
That would have probably put the systems a little closer in terms of performance. Probably what Microsoft was counting on.
If the OS uses 3 GB like it does now, does that mean the ps4 only has 1 gb available for games? lol.
I doubt the OS uses more than 2 GB now. It's just a reserve for future use.If the OS uses 3 GB like it does now, does that mean the ps4 only has 1 gb available for games? lol.
