How old were you when this now 'last generation' started?

And what was the first game you played on your next gen console? Were you blown away?
I was 18 years old when the 360 launched.
First game I played was COD2! Picked it up at midnight! Got home and played immediately. Even skipped a college class for a day of gaming.
I remember thinking the graphics were mind blowing at the time! Little did I know that the same engine would make it across generational lines...

Camped out from about 7am till 6am the next day when best buy opened. Was a blast with my buddies. Had a cooler full of beer and a propane heater. Picked up perfect dark and condemned only at launch because I was still playing ghost recon 2 summit strike religiously at that time.

Yep, I was a clan killer lol. loved that game. loved loved it's predecessors and loved graw and graw 2. Then ghost recon future soldier came along.....and now I am bitter as f*** lol. I just want a good ghost recon game this gen....is that too much to ask for? Even would take an HD remake at this point lol.

I honestly consider graw the first next gen game.....it was awesome.

Did GRAW launch before Oblivion?
I don't remember but I do agree. GRAW left an impact visually. Those explosions were particularly impressive at the time.
