I won't be upset if one or two Are resurrected old IPs. The issue is that it seems like none of them are doing new IPs.

Yeay, calling Gears action & adventure is a bit of stretch. I just think MS may think they have that general area covered.

Obsidian made one of my favourite RPGs ever, Fallout New Vegas.

I couldn't get into new vegas, in my experience it was an even less polished game than the bethesda titles. Obsidian has always felt like a studio with a lower level of polish overall to me and I've never really played anything of theirs to completion. I do want to circle back around to the outer worlds though, only ever got through the first bit before getting distracted with something else...

Would you put any in your top 5 games of this gen?

I don’t know. Games are so subjective and tend to connect with me at different times and periods of life. I don’t generally try to rank them or categorize them anymore. They come and go, cycle in and out. I just know what I enjoy and spend time playing.

So for example, I have played roughly 3000 hours of KI, but played through Quantum Break once. I wasn’t any less interested or invested in Quantum Break while playing it though, where I spent roughly 50 hours by comparison.
