Well, Kevin Feige just asked me last week if I had any more ideas or stories for the Hulk. And I said, ‘Yeah, I think there’s still some stories to tell.’ And he said, ‘Well, why don’t you come in and tell me about them and we’ll see if we can find a place for you in the Marvel universe? Hulk vs. Wolverine. I’d like to see that.
 
I wish Bill Bixby wouldn't have died 26 years ago. I would have him come back as the Hulk along with Lou Ferrigno.

I think there is a way to recover The Hulk as a character by getting him away from THOR and teaming him more with Dr. Strange.

Bruce Banner works well as a kind of odd Science Bro character and Dr. Strange is grounded in science initially but also learned in the mystic arts.

There is also the fact that The Hulk is an underlying Multiple Personality condition which to his credit I think Ang Lee tried to convey.

There is still The Gray Hulk which has yet to show up or be explored. Bruce Banner has multiple personality disorder and is 3 people including Bruce, Green Hulk, and Gray Hulk (Joe Fixit).

Well they will pair him up with someone as they won't do a stand alone film due to the publisher rights
 
The only way they could have saved Hulk was by having a rematch with Thanos in End game but they blew it.
Turned him into another comedy character
