Let me ask a question here. I'm not sure if this is the right place to do so.

I'm really curious and not trying to start crap, but why doesn't XBLA get credit when it came to bringing indie games into the light? PS is taking plenty of credit these days and it bugs me a bit. I played both systems and I was seeing plenty of small studio games coming on to XBLA then I ever did on PS.
Yeah I remember the Indies aren’t “real”games talk back in the Xbox 360 days.

I always picture Xbox as the indie friendly console. MS always has a huge focus on indie games at their shows going back to XBLA. More common in the segments where they plug like 30 indie games in a 3 minute trailer, as well as "bigger" indie titles getting their own screen time. Then with ID@Xbox, and how they help developers with indies (including 2 free dev kits per developer), and then indies day one on Xbox Game Pass. Which all trickles to PC as well.

Indies seems like a afterthought on PS.

Indie titles didn't matter till the PS4. Once Adam Boyes left Sony they became a real afterthought as made clear by several indie devs this gen.

But yes XBLA deserves a lot more credit for the attention it bought to indie games. They should have kept it on the store as well as many titles get lost.

Mandated demos was my favorite thing.
