Official Thread Injustice 2

Hmm still waiting for Hellboy on PC.

The game is fun, but it's taking some adjusting to workout combos or corner pressure. This is similar but different from how MKX handles.
 
Picked this up for $20 on Black Friday. Looking forward to trying it out. I haven’t been able to get into fighters in years. Heard good things about this one.

I almost picked it up too, but I won't buy fighters anymore unless all the DLC characters are included. Next time the ultimate edition or whatever is on sale I'll grab Injustice 2 for sure.

MK:X is amazing, btw!

We have MK:X my wife and son like to play it. I haven’t tried it yet myself.
 
Having mixed feelings about this game.

The characters are really well done, but I'm finding the leveling and unlocking gear stuff time consuming and annoying. I might babysit the AI while it grinds each character to level 20 or beats annoying bosses to earn Epic Gear and after a while wonder what the hell I'm doing.

I really wish the gear was only for looks like the unlockable costumes in Mortal Kombat X. Strangely, the stuff only for looks like the Shader Colors is even more costly earning Source Crystals. Also after getting a character to 20 and mixed Epic Gear, it becomes apparent some are part of Epic Gear Sets with more fighting bonuses. I didn't realize how much this game would have pseudo RPG crap.


I will mess with Atom coming soon to PC a little bit then quit or maybe even play MKX.
 
If anybody on the PS4 still plays this let me know. Would love to get some games in with others.
 
Haven't played a fighting game in a while. In fact MKX is the last one I spent a lot of time with. Bought SF5 and Tekken 7 and just couldn't get into either of the. This game I might want to check out when it has a decent sale. I take it the single player content is as good as MKX?

Its very good and I say that as someone who played MKX a lot.

My only thing is I feel all the unlockables or leveling are to time consuming. Fir example Atom just came out on PC. If I wanted to try him online, I should level him up to 20 as well as earn Epic gear. Going online at Level 1 would probably get destroyed immediately.

Aside from this, it is well made and I did enjoy playing Injustice Raiden.

In ranked matches the gear is turned off. Level of your character doesn't matter. In unranked matches there is an option to turn the gear off at the stage select.

Story mode is ok but not as good as the first game

I play fighting games so little that I don't bother with them online usually. Mainly looking for story modes, ladders, etc. MK/Injustice usually wins in that regard.

yeah I would like to casually play offline with complete characters

I dunno, maybe I'm being nitpicky or impatient not wanting to have to unlock abilities, especially as what is unlocked is kind of random. Maybe I want a specific ability, I never know when ill get it in the Multiverse playing for 'Unlock Random Ability'.


Or I'm just way to used to MKX with my characters all complete upfront aside from unlockable costumes that have no affect or buffs on gameplay. There aren't special unlockable chainsaws for Leatherface with damage bonuses for example.

So I tried this game again with the Superman Justice League gear Universe and it kept crashing a lot on my Laptop PC. Not sure what to make of that.

Is it possible that during Holidays and popular Multiverse events it might mess with the game even though I'm not really in online Multiplayer?
 
The strange thing about this character is I just wonder why Dr. Fate couldn't be this versatile? For magic users, he now seems like a really bland zoner in comparison.
 
Tried switching back to MKX and find it way more satisfying to play. I just miss the huge character roster.

I just have to get used to using a button for block again lol.

I will go back to Injustice later to try Enchantress.
 
I was a little too old and missed out on the TMNT craze but they do look fun.
 
Only good thing about Injustice 2 support coming to an end is that it means a new Mortal Kombat announcement is just around the corner.
