Ha ha, yes I have. I'll see if I can record some clips of him tonight.
My impressions at this point are that he's definitely early, but it's obvious some passion has gone into him and they've had fun. There are nice, fun little details such as the descriptions in the move list, his animations are pretty much everything you'd expect from a battletoad, and his during his win pose he says, "Man these cameos are killing me."
Oh, and for his instinct he whistles and calls in his hover bike to crash into his opponent.
Areas where it is obvious that he's still being worked on is basically his move set and how they work inside the combo system. It's possible that it's intentionally limited, but I don't think so. He has a good amount of specials: his giant boot kick, his wrecking ball, head ram, he has two target combos, and he can shoot out his tongue to pull him places or "eat" projectiles. However, he has only one opener and linker, and both sets of animations are the same for lights, mediums, or heavy. This will make him easy to read and break in his current form. Also, he doesn't really have an Ultra combo, but instead just hits them with a giant punch.
All in all, he is very true to the character and quite fun, but he'll need more to be competitive. That's what's great about KI's community driven development though, the team will take our feedback and improve.
