I liked the game but it has a huge learning curve. If I remember correctly you have to even have your character learn to read.
Nope. Who needs to be literate? My sword will do the talking.
Yep. My guy learned to read from all the scrolls I robbed from the monks I murdered. Then ate.

It and all the DLC is on sale for $4 right now on MS store. I’ve played a little so far it looks decent for a last gen RPG with no next gen upgrade.
Yep it's actually a pretty unique experience, the quests are pretty grounded, fighting is insanely hard at first but satisfying, you start as a lowly peasant with no experience so mastering the systems takes effort but feels great once you get the hang of it.
