Group walks. When I've had to walk people's dogs who didn't get along, or were unsure of each other, group walks with one on one side and one on the other worked amazingly. While some of Cesar Milan's techniques are discussable, the group walk is one of the best ones, especially with pack dogs like huskies. Since you have three you can either take two at a time and then go for a second walk right after, or your two on one side and the other one on the other. So I'm dog sitting a third Husky this weekend for a co worker. I think he is crated for most of the day and he's extremely skittish due to a lack of socialization. It gets under my skin that they kind of messed him up but he's still young and I thought maybe I could give him a fun weekend with my pups.
Anyone have any tips in getting a scared Dog to be comfortable around you?
