Yes, excellent news.

I haven't played it yet either. I have a PS3, but I'll be happy to wait for the PS4 version. Even at full price, it will be worth it, considering the enhanced visuals and inclusion of the $15 DLC. I'd rather play games using the Dual Shock 4 when possible, too.

Sony is making all of the right moves this time around.

I would've said this should have made the launch window, but it's going to be a big hit during the summer when there typically isn't much else for releases.

Good news. This will definitely help push me to get a PS4 sometime next year.

Yeah, me, too (except it'll be this year). It is weird to consider a PS3 game a PS4 system seller, but there you go.

Honestly, it's a bit hard to replay that game for me. The story was so great and the gameplay was kind of just okay that it wouldn't have the same impact as the first run.

Definitely worth it for people who haven't played it yet, though.

I only managed 1/4 of the game or so and got bored. Maybe I'll try it again.

I'm in the process of finishing the game, but will double dip as well.

The game on PS3 looks really good ( one of the best visually last gen) But the hardware is definitely limiting the general art direction imo. So this is great news to me.

Well, looks like they are going to have more games than everyone thought (including myself)

I figuered this would happen and this is exactly whey I haven't played or bought the game yet. payed off

Awesome news. Some games from last gen should be released again on next gen consoles. The Last of Us is at the top of that list.

I think releasing old titles from PC would be nice too, just call it classic titles (Deus Ex, Half Life, No One Lives Forever) etc

The Last of Us Definitive Edition sounds good. Still need to play the DLC so I'll probably get this to revisit this masterpiece. I don't think ND should do a sequel with Joel and Ellie. The ending was perfect.

Maybe throw Beyond: Two Souls at the PS4 as well. Bought it for $5 over holidays but haven't gotten to it yet.

Oh yeah, Beyond: Two Souls was a nice game too. Hooked me into the story and Ellen Page did a great job in it.

Can't wait to see what QD has in store for the PS4.

Might be 1080 at 30fps... Could be an engine limitation since it is just a port

True, but if naughty dog has anything to do with it, I'm not worried. They pushed the hell out of this pos ps3.

Not fair...I paid full retail at launch last year. Now I'll dish out that extra $100 dollars to play it again!

Yep and in the meantime they sold over 6 million copies on PS3.

I read others mentioning 60 fps, does a game like this really need to be 60 fps? it seemed pretty slow paced when I played it, I don't know that 60 fps would really benefit it much. I'd much rather they did whatever they could to push it graphically and keep it at 30 fps.

I'm assuming all the PS3 HD titles will also at some point be on PS4, or most of them. Atleast I hope so

Dead locked at 30 would be great, it wasn't quite 30 on PS3. 60fps though would be awesome, but I'd take an upgraded lighting system and crisp AA over 60fps in this case.

Yeah in these slower paced games I think graphics matter more than being 60 fps, as long as it's at least a solid 30 I think that should be fine.

Looking forward to seeing what all the hubbub was about. If I can get this, Uncharted, Journey, GOW, Heavy Rain, Motorstorm, and maybe LBP then I can truly feel like I didnt miss anything by skipping out on PS3 last gen. Did I miss anything else?

Twisted Metal, lol no. (And I was a huge fan back on PS1 and PS2). Sly for sure, hadnt heard of Siren or White Knight.
