MS obviously had made the decision to port by time of that tweet.
It doesn't change anything. The info he was supplied was what he knew at the time. It changed.
So when he has been correct about things, we just ignore that too?
Should we start a list of people that we can't use as trusted sources for this forum? I am game if you are. So far that list would have zero entries.
I think Jez is fine but everything he says should taken with a huge grain of salt. Both tweets are just him running cover for MS and there is likely no real journalism happening.
That one's pretty easy. In the TV landscape, there are an abundance of manufacturers where competition is extremely fierce. They have a vested interest to improve their tech, supply chains, product efficiency and price regularly because if they don't their competition will. In both the console and PC spaces, there is VERY limited competition, especially in the high end market. If you don't like their prices/behavior, there really isn't anywhere else for you to go.
Yeah in the last year or so I’ve noticed TV’s that were once $1,000+ in retail stores you can get them now for around $500 to $800 depending on the brand. Hell you can get decent TV’s now for under $500.
I am an engineer. Physical product can be affect but digital product. I also do not think services are affected, like outsourcing (but I migh be wrong on the latter)? I am talking about their local MS store charging extra for Game pass. The effect of tariff if any is minor.
Also don't forget they release new iterations of the same models almost every year so that pushes the previous year's model down quicker as well. Think G5 this year replaced G4 last year of LG's Oleds.
Yeah with PC you're either going Nvidia or amd, and Intel or AMD. There are more options for mobos, ram, ssds, fans, cases etc but cpu and gpu nope.
MS has been stepping on a rake for like 15 years at this point. Its time to stop blaming the internet or PS fanboys.
MS hasn't done itself any favors, but if you don't believe PS fanboys have been s***ting all over the brand for the past 25 years and spreading fake news, you have been living in a cave.

I was born in 83 I’ve been gaming a very long time I’ve owned consoles from all makers and PC. Ever since MS got into the gaming business with XB I’ve noticed for decades a big number of gamers have been against them.
@yankeessuck quit acting like there isn’t a far bigger number of Sony/Nintendo fanboys that want to see them fail and will do everything they can across the internet and social media to see it happen.
It sounds far-fetched but only reason I posted it was because it was SneakersSO , that guy posted too much in detail and so he was pretty accurate in the past.
