Its not a xbox generation without stepping on rakes. 360 gen = RROD; xbox one gen = TV TV TV & Kinect/always online used game messaging; Series X/S gen = multiplatform 1st party, abandon of HW.MS has been stepping on a rake for like 15 years at this point. Its time to stop blaming the internet or PS fanboys.
Game Pass Ultimate is at 600 games now. But also includes day one first party games.I'm sure everyone is going to love Fortnite Crew , Ubisoft+ classics as they force it down their throats.
PS plus premium has over 600 game titles, game pass ultimate has 400, does that mean because the former has 33% more games on the service there's increase value also PS plus premium is much cheaper?
Also they took away day 1 AND COD for other tiers except PC Gamepass and Ultimate now. So they actually regressed in value for the other two.

Game Pass games that people don't want or care about are on the service and forced down their throats too.
The other two they actually added games. The first tier they doubled the number of games. The Ultimate Tier also DOUBLED the number of day one games as well.
That's a good question. I wonder the same about Sony as well, with their most recently jump a staggering 35%, and then they just announced that they will be "adding value", but increasing the prices for "profit".People want day 1 first party games AND COD just like before. They took those away. Now they trying to say they added value by putting stuff noone wants. This is why people are saying they are cancelling as they are effectively priced out from all the bloated stuff.
I won't be surprised if by this time next year, they continue to add more and more cloud gaming related stuff in an attempt to show there's value.
For those who don't use them, there's 0 value. It's just going to keep going up and up. $40 in 2 years? $50 in 4 years? Who knows, it'll really come down to how much they want to milk it.
No he only ever rags on MS.That's a good question. I wonder the same about Sony as well, with their most recently jump a staggering 35%, and then they just announced that they will be "adding value", but increasing the prices for "profit".
Damn these businesses doing business! I am glad you noticed that both are doing the same!

Sony never had day 1 first party games on the service
Subscriptions services aren't for me overall, they are way too expensive and require putting more hours than I can afford each month to make it worthwhile at these current prices. Goes for PS Plus too.
Going forward, they ain't it.
Yikes, that makes for a less valuable service for us gamers thenBut I wasn't talking about first party. I was talking about how both companies continue to raise the prices of their services, with the most recent being 35% and 50% respectively. And one of them committing to increase the price soon to increase profits. That's not for the consumer. That is for the corporate greed.
Agreed.
The plot thickens...
