That makes no sense. What ever combos are there should be able to be hit 100% of the time the game requires it.
CPU & GPU do different tasks (some overlap).

What it essentially does is, if there is a lot of CPU task, & less GPU task, it bottlenecking, it will overlock the CPU, & to do so, underclock the GPU. Otherwise, it overheats.

As an analogy, think of 2 connecting systems A & B that do different tasks (but some overlap tasks), that use XX power together. When I need to use System A & its is overloading, & if, & only if system B isn't near capacity, take the power of B to power more of A. Does it improve performance overall when max out?

Yes, but as a developer, it's not intrusive to design to ensure GPU & CPU are optimized.

I know what it does. Hence my point. If you design the game for 3.5Ghz/3.5Ghz and 90% of the game requires it, it will give you that power 100% of the time. It shouldn't be unreliable. Thus no need to to choose the lowest power option.

I'm not saying you're wrong either, by the way. Just seems illogical to build it to be unreliable and not have profiles that are sustainable 100% of the time.

Because Game Pass started last week.

Have fun with Playstation Plus Collection.

Sony has a service already too but that isn't even the point

Sony isn't going to do it because their games sell a ton. In Mcmasters world Sony is two days from going out of business so they can't afford to do it.

Sales are going to be a bit skewed anyways depending on availability.

For example, I think far more people would have bought a digital PS5, but stock seems limited.

A BB employee on Twitter said his store was only allotted 16 PS5s, and only 2 of them were digital.

140 bucks for a next gen game for me, that is ridiculous, will be interested to see what Xbox does, but considering all first party will be on GP anyway and I can trade in my 1X and not my pro has made my first console choice a whole lot easier.
