Hey I just point out that it's not right to talk to someone like that, I think I've already said enough times why. I don't know if Menace has called anyone else anything but to me, "mentally challenged/slow-minded" is a term I don't take lightly and won't tolerate. On topic, looks like they are delaying God of War 2 to 2022, which is a bummer. With GT7 having the same treatment, I'm hoping HZD 2 and Ratchet don't get the same delays.

Reasons why Sony should be interested in putting more PS games on PC:

XB console sales have been laughably worse since no longer having exclusives.
Sony isn't stupid they will milk the older games and force people to buy into the PS5 ecosystem to play the games they make.
As I said in the other thread, I'm fine if they want to also cash in on the PC community if it's a couple years apart from the console release dates like how they did with HZD. But if they go the same route as MS, like releasing at the same time on both console and PC, I don't see any reason to own a console anymore and may just go full PC. Their exclusives have been selling well just being on the Playstation as we have seen last gen. One of the strongest reasons IMO to own a Playstation was for its console exclusives.
Their physical console sales may be worse yes, but they are still racking in money with the software sales.
My point was that this is an additional source of income, and with Jim Ryan saying an 'entire slate of games' obviously Sony is seriously considering doing this in perpetuity.
I was half expecting it to be in 2021 tbh but I understand Covid and other factors may have played a role in games developments over the past year.
I seriously doubt Sony is going to release games on PS5 simultaneously with the PC. Probably not going to happen this generation. However, this is a precedent, and I could see them mirroring PC launches for possible future PlayStation platforms. Again they see the money is there.
Time will tell. The day Sony does the same thing as MS, the day I'm selling my console and buying a high end GPU.

Gears 4 and 5 did worse than older XB games did on 360.
Let me add Horizon ZD did TERRIBLE in sales compared to the PS4 version.
Sony has stated(even showed a picture) PS4/classics are coming to PC.

This isn't about platform preference or previous sales numbers, it is about making as much money as possible and reaching as many gamers as possible.

I never said they did make more. It is possible they did or they didn't.
You are missing the point. In a business.....what is certain is that if you have a smaller audience you will ALWAYS make less than what you COULD if you had a bigger audience.

Exclusives, well quality exclusives is where big money is.
If Sony was dumb like MS and did what they did they would suffer the same way.
What about digital. They get far more from a digital sale than a physical sale. What about Microtransactions. We have no idea how many subs any Gears game was responsible for.
Don't forget DLC too, my friend and his buddies who are always playing Sea of Thieves have spent a ton on micro transactions since they didn't outright buy the game and feel better about spending a bit here and there on cosmetic upgrades.
