MS went for the cheap false eyelash look while Sony went for natural fullness. Will MS ever get it right????JLJ:J:J:HDF:D

The differences are minor to the majority of these comparisons. Something that only DF would know and most wouldn't know unless DF pointed it out. Not to mention, most will buy the game for the platform of their choice no matter what, especially as tight as these comparisons are.

This is the thread of

LEGENDARY SERIES X VS PS5 VS PC DISCUSSION WITH MOAR JACKIE CHAN AND GUYS COMFORTABLE WITH THEIR SEXUALITY! !

And has more posts in it than any other thread in existence on this forum. These comparisons will be here forEVA.....or until Plainview shuts down this forum!
So discusss them, but sitting here claiming one a victor with such small differences is pathetic.

Some Xbox fans just want another PS4 vs X1 situation but other way around difference but it's not happening.

The PS4's GPU was 50% more powerful than the X1 in addition to the tflops/ROPS/CUs difference.

I foresee the PS5 and XSX just trading blows in multiplatforms until at least the next-gen only era arrives then we'll see how the two compare.
Yes and all that difference amounted to very little. PS fanboys trying to claim 180p is some huge difference. It is the same.

There was wider gap in the beginning of multiplatforms, I believe it was something like 900p/1080p for PS4 most of the time and 720p/900p for the X1 with PS4 sometimes having the better performance and IQ as well.

This gen, the XSX has about a 16% tflops advantage but the PS5 has the 22% faster clocks. Different I/O's, different RAM arrangement, PS5 has the better SSD but they're about equal in multiplats with some engines running better on the PS5, some on the XSX. It's a wash so far.

I know I'm not telling you something you don't already know here but at the start of last gen xbox one had quite a few 720p games, COD for one was 1080p on PS4 and 720p on xbox one, the big "exclusive" Titanfall ran at 792p so it wasn't just 1080p vs 900p there were plenty of big xbox games early on barely running at higher res than the 360 was supposedly mandated to run at the gen before. Plus the Xbox One was $100 more expensive so it was all a bigger deal that the "weaker" machine cost more, we all know why that was but at launch that was the only option if you wanted an xbox.

This gen isn't starting that way at all, things will go back and forth for a while I'm sure and that's totally fine, the start of last gen the "weaker" system lost every head to head, this one the "weaker" system (on paper) has won more than it's lost and both consoles will show improved performance as time goes on and the differences between them no matter who comes out "on top" will be negligible.

Oh please. Take that selective crap elsewhere.

I pointed out two of many, I'm not going down a whole list when we were all here at the time and knew what it was.

The fact this thread exists speaks to the minor differences/gap, it's so close that you need multiple analysis to confirm that one is marginally better than the other and it's not one way. It's like a see-saw.

Last gen, I think Xbox fans gave up on the head to heads because I don't remember seeing as much activity around comparisons as this gen so far. I think after a while, you could see there was no competition and there was no point posting the different analysis because PS4 would win all of them.

Then the Xbox One X was released and there was no competition from the PS4 Pro.

Look at Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart, worlds change in 1 second.

It's unsure during gameplay if you can pop in and out of worlds though.

If you made it ten seconds, would the game be completely different? It's a nice accomplishment, and a great quality of life feature, but it's something that will be about one percent total of the time you play, and we don't even know if it's essentially on rails.

I guess we will find out when the game releases in June.

It would be a different experience, they wouldn't have made this specific game if the SSD's didn't allow them to change worlds that quickly. Having the worlds change completely in 1 second vs what would undoubtedly have been much more than 10 seconds makes the experience different. Can you imagine sitting there waiting for that loading constantly? the game wouldn't be any fun. In the demo they said the boss fight loaded a whole level not just a small arena.

Who cares if someone said PS5 isn't Full RDNA 2. It is their truth, my truth is PS5 has RDNA2. My truth>Your truth

Still talking about RDNA2 features ?

The final product speaks for itself. There are no virtual differences between the PS5 and XSX versions. All VRS does is help the game performance and the PS5 is handling that department very well.

VRS isn't what its cracked up to be in my opinion. The Resident Evil Village PC demo has the option to use it. While it does increase performance it is at the cost of textures looking somewhat pixelated. No thanks.

PS5 is the 1st GPU to run at RDNA 2 speeds followed by the 6000 series from AMD.

XSX GPU runs well below RDNA 2's 2ghz+ speeds.
XSX runs at RDNA 1 speeds.
XSX GPU is a off the shelf slower/watered-down version of RDNA 2.

PS5 isn't full RDNA 2 because the unneeded features like server functions and DX stuff is removed and replaced with Sony designed custom parts.

RE:V looks kind of last gen to me. I know it's a cross gen title. But it just doesn't look that great imo.
Yeah when I first played the 2nd demo I thought it looked very average, nothing looked better than just ok to me.

I feel the opposite with the outside looking amazing and the inside looking PS4 Proish.
The textures outside are worse IMO, honestly didn't care for the gameplay either. It didn't help that the demo gave an option for inverting the camera controls but it wouldn't actually do it lol.
