Enjoy the break!

I think Garlic contains sulphur which is curiously beneficial for fighting germs, but also stinky. I'm not sure how it applies to cancer though.

Several population studies show an association between increased intake of garlic and reduced risk of certain cancers, including cancers of the stomach, colon, esophagus, pancreas, and breast.

Pretty interesting read.

Holy f***, that's awesome. Stage 4, and now cancer-free.

I don't know what to say, man, except thank God, and enjoy your life. :)

So happy to hear this, man.

Hopefully you have some type of vacation planned or something, in case it's been a while. You deserve some time to really enjoy the life you are given. I mean, we all do. We all have trouble grasping how every day really is a beautiful gift. I know that sounds corny, but it's reality. There is so much out in the world to see, and there are some really wonderful people in it.

Wow, this is great uplifting news. Going through divorce right now and this hit the spot after following the story for a while. Keep it up my man!

CT was clear but my CEA had raised from 0.8 to 7.8. So he did another CEA today and if it is still raised will need a PET scan to make sure I'm clear

I have no idea what any of that means but I hope that your recovery continues to to be speedy and positive.

So if you don't mind me asking.. how has all the treatment and tests affected you financially?
I'm just asking cause I live in Canada and we have free health care but I've heard of people needing hospital stays in the US getting completely wiped out finance wise.
Do you have good insurance to pay for everything?

Honestly after being diagnosed with stage 4 and I'm still hear and went into remission I'm amazed. I just hope it is still gone. I know I will still probably die from it some day if something else doesn't get me first though.

The good thing is that since you beat it, cancer research is continually improving. Some cancers that would kill people a decade ago for sure have a much higher chance of survival now. Every day, week, month, and year that you live is not only a blessing but it allows even more research to pile up in your favor.

Another thing, I'm not sure how your diet is these days, but I would live like you already have cancer. You probably already are fighting it this way. But by that I mean starve it to death by limiting sugar, there is tons of research on that. My aunt had stage four cancer and decided to go organic foods/low sugar route.

She went to two doctors and one of them was calling her everyday to get her on meds and start chemo, meanwhile, the tumor was shrinking everyday until it was gone completely. That was six years ago and she's still going strong with the diet and cancer free. Obviously, chemo works better for some cancers than others, but limiting cancer fuel in your body couldn't hurt.

They called this morning. My CEA has increased again from 7.8 to 10 in just a week. So PET scans next week to figure out what is going on. Disappointed but I have made it this far I can't give up hope know.
