I have to be honest and say this thread makes me nervous every time it shows up in my new posts feed.

Then I have to remember that it’s most likely you letting us know it’s getting better at some point!

Love you man!

If there's anything you need, anything we can do, just ask. You need money for meds or whatever, we'll take up a collection. You need a hooker and blow, we'll take care of it. You want a next gen console but can't afford it, let us know, and we'll start saving up. You want to see a video of Hedon doing a silly dance in a g-string, I'm sure he'll oblige. Whatever you want, just ask. You're a good man and have been a valuable part of this forum for a long time. I think we would like to do more than just pray and send good wishes, so if there's anything at all we can do for you, just ask. :)

Still doing chemo. I get scans next Monday and the reaults Tuesday. I'm nervous that it will have gotten worse again or have spread but I guess we will see. He added another chemo after my last scans so hopefully it helped. Thank you for checking on me.

Just to update everyone I had multiple appointments at OSU today. I was told even though my Oncologist said my last PET showed the cancer was only in my Liver it has actually come back in my colon also. They want to do surgery and remove the cancer from my colon and liver at the same time. I agreed and it will happen unless the MRI I am going to have shows more cancer in my liver then the PET and CT scans show.

Well got bad news. They started the surgery and once they got inside they found that the cancer had spread to my peritoneum which is extremely rare. So surgery was stopped and now they will try to find other ways to fight the cancer.

To say I'm devastated is a Understatement. I had a feeling when they had me stop chemo for over a month and a half it would spread. But I trusted them and hoped they knew what they where doing.

Dude, I’m gonna hate to say what I’m gonna type out, totally inappropriate, but can Flynn or aceattorney could maybe reach a hand and let him play halo infinite on a series x ASAP?

Ugh. I'm so sorry to hear that. I can't imagine what you're going through.

It's hard to know what to say. Just know that we're thinking about you.

That's not the news you have hoped for, but they're finding another way to attack it. Hopefully it's early enough in it's spread that they can halt it. Keep positive thoughts, brother. ❤

Sorry man. Hopefully, there's another strategy to take care of this.

We just dealt with a similar problem with my mother-in-law. She has a form of lung cancer. She was maintaining it with chemo, but stopped to do radiation because the cancer had spread to her brain. While doing that and recovering; the cancer decided to spread more in her lungs. She's well into her 70s, so her age isn't helping any and things don't look good for her.

I don't mean to sound pessimistic or anything here, but wanted to share and say that you can only do so much and have to trust the doctors to some degree. I know you can look back and think "if only I .....". You can't. You can only go with what you know at the time and hope it's for the best.

Keep fighting.

Sorry to hear that about your mother in law. Hope they can help her.

I know I can only do so much just frustrated and scared. I also have been told it could be up to 2 or 3 weeks before I get treatment. I'm just starting to feel like the doctors don't care.

They can't do much else except prepared for the inevitable and get as comfortable as possible. I think she would've made different choices if she would've known some things in advance.

You'd think that if it's spreading they would get you in ASAP.

Personally, I think doctor's don't care when it comes to smaller maladies; let alone cancer. I assume doctors see this stuff every day, so it comes off like they don't care. However, I think it's there job to make you their focus when they are with you.

I would simple ask if it's bad to wait 2/3 weeks without treatment if it's already spreading. See what they say. All you can do is ask.

Are you sure you're even able to have the treatment done so soon after having surgery? Maybe there's some sort of recovery time or maybe it takes time for them to prepare (you or medical teams) for having it done.

I'm always wishing for the best outcome for you, even though I don't post anything much because it's very saddening to read about what you're going through. Keep fighting sir.

Starting back next Tuesday on the chemo I was on before they said stop chemo for surgery. Glad to be fighting it again with treatment of some kind. Still scared and feel like it is hopeless and they are just going through the motions.

It was working before so they're going back to what was working. I know it's VERY easy to get down, and to be scared. It's only natural. You have to stay positive. You know that. Do things that make you happy and brings your spirits up.
