So is it better to upgrade or not!?! Standard, solid state or Hybrid?!? The article is very confusing in terms of test results. Any recommendations, thanks...

well from what it looks like with SSD does speeds up in some places while making it slower in others. With that I'd just get a normal drive and get the biggest size you can.
 
I think you will get better return for your money if you just upgrade to a larger SATA traditional hard drive.
 
SSHD (solid state hybrid drives) seems like the best value for money at the moment. SSDs are only slightly faster but far more expensive.

IGN's comparison only shows better level loading times on the SSHD but the stock HDD beats the SSHD in system cold boot, game boots, and install times. I don't know whether that is justification enough to spend more money unless you need more space later on.
