You do know every pro team across sports cheats in some way right? Hell the leagues themselves and their refs and umpires cheat to favor outcomes. It’s life.
I just wish Angel Hernandez was the home plate umpire for every game. Then it would be worth watching this year.

I like how the majority of playoff teams this year were either swept by the awful Reds or had losing records against them. They might have been able to do something if the team owner wasn't such a greedy pos who cries all the time that he's losing money every year.
Actually I do kinda like the randomness of the Baseball/Playoffs. Teams with massive payrolls doesn’t mean s***, and teams with 100+ wins doesn’t mean you will make it through.
Baseball is all about getting hot at the right time. Your bats go cold at the wrong time and you're out.
I have no problem with the playoff format. Basically, you have two central division teams winning a division that are worse than many wild card teams. Heck, the Rangers were basically tied for 1st anyway, just lost a tiebreaker.
The D-Backs were quietly dominating most of the year but didn't get much attention. They really scuffed down the stretch, but again, they heated up at the right time. In a way, you want to hit your slump late in the year.
