I did a search and there wasn't a thread for Madden 25, so here we go.

Ive had Madden 25 since I bought my X1. I don't really understand all the hate against Madden, I like it myself.

Madden 25 is easily the best Madden I have played. I enjoyed building my MUT team, but lost interest in the online after seeing how some people manipulate their roster. You see a lot of people using Walter Payton as their QB. Its cheap because the only defense for it is to blitz constantly. Then the amount of quitters is more than the people who will actually finish a game. The auction house was fun to wheel and deal, but I got my MUT team to level 94 before I gave up on the online.

The sp Franchise mode is were I have spent most of my time with Madden 25. I don't play as an owner, I play as a coach/player. I love how you can upgrade your players. Im in a rebuilding phase right now. My QB is a level 78, and is leading the league in interceptions. But I got him as a rookie and have been upgrading him every season. Im also working on my offensive line. My defense and my running game are awesome though. Ive won 3 Super Bowls, I think. Also, it was cool when the Toronto Huskies came to be. I hope there are more teams ahead.

I really agree with you there.

I think the hate this gets, is LARGELY bandwagon hate. Yes - the upgrades are incremental, but it's still a GOOD football game.

There ARE holes in the game - but what game doesn't?

If they can just stay away from canned animations though and make it more physics based it would be perfect for me. There are still moments where players are just piling on and moving in the direction based on the engine's canned system.

I buy Madden every other year. Feels fresh to me when I do it like this. But overall, Madden is a good football game. I do wish that they would put in the kind of effort into Connected Careers as 2K sports puts into MyCareer mode.

I agree. I hear a lot of people complain about Madden, but very few go into detail with their issues. I think most of the hate is because its an EA game that releases each year. I usually go through 2-3 Madden games per generation, and mostly enjoy the games. Madden 25 is so far my favorite.

To me it still doesn't represent the game very well.

I would love a true broadcast style NFL football game. Not a very detailed Madden game.

Well apparently that's gonna be one of the focus of NFL 15.

Let's hope they at least get close to what they're aiming for.
