I bought this game on PS4, I'll give it one more shot but I wasn't impressed with EA's effort here. I may end up trading it in this week.

Someone let me know. Because I get the "omg it looks awesome" and then the "omg wtf did you do EA". I still have my 360 version and plan on skipping this unless it's an absolute must.

I rented it and yeah, it's a current gen port with a few improvements to the stadium, crowd and sidelines.
But we shouldn't be surprised because EA said they were going to do that so that they could have a feature complete game at launch instead of a bare bones tech demo like Madden 2006.

Personally I think it's lazy and I hope it does sell worth a damn.

I have it here(purchased it 4 my son) I think its very sharp and clean....but doesn't look a generation better.

So the feature set is complete at least?

If so, that's a first. EA Sports always goes the "better graphics, gimped features" route.

Good thing I only really care about hockey and that is always a year two game anyway. With the extra year, they better make NHL 15 have both a big bump in graphics, gameplay and features.
