Yes they do its called open gl.

If you read B3D and the technical slides the PS4 actually has all of the same API as DX 11.2 plus a few add-ons from the next DX, referred to as "DX 11.2+".

Ok, I think I'll close the thread now. It's drifting, and there has been plenty of time to react to Major Nelson's comments.
