MGSV: The Phantom Pain E3 Trailer

That's odd. It was working 10 min ago. Now it's set to private.

Yeah so...two things. Snake has what appears to be shrapnel in his head, and he also has Iron Mans arm now. I think Kojima let the secret out of the bag early. Its not a phantom pain, its an actual shard of debris stuck in his brain.

Looks like a rather depressing game from the trailer.

Snake-Shnake. You call him Big Boss. Unlike most people I'm actually glad he has another actor voicing him which serves to differentiate both characters.

I find it hard to take this game seriously. It try to sell us as a stealth game, but has a stupid pop out of box action, & have an arm that is red in color.

There is a good reason why people do not take red gears to battle.

Heads up about the arm - It's a robotic prosthetic taken from a russian spy that was killed in Peace Walker.
Doesn't come from absolutely nowhere, is all I'm saying.

Also, "Phantom Pain" alludes to quite a few things. Beyond the obvious shrapnel and missing limbs, (along with the blunt connection of a certain disorder known as phantom limb syndrome) there's far more to any mans pain than simply a physical wound.

ease up on it a bit, it's got a long (and often very political) story to tell, despite the cardboard box. It's how Metal Gear always is.

I aint paying $40+ again for 2 hrs of gameplay.
Do you not know what the deal is with ground zeroes and the phantom pain? MGS:GZ was a small prologue to the phantom pain, meant mostly to serve as an early sampling of some of the mechanics/ gmaeplay in phantom pain. MGS:TPP is said to be like, 400x the size of Ground Zeroes...

I'm not the biggest MG fan in the world but I did get 4 and Ground Zeros. But this game blows my mind. One of the coolest and best looking games shown yet.

I freaking love mgs and this is a console seller for me. Just love the lore, gameplay and cinematic feel of the game. I just hope it doesn't lose too much of the mgs feel by going too open world, as I do prefer a more linear approach in games for better story telling.
