The update coming tomorrow is 79 GB!
LOL good thing I have extra space. That is substantial though...did they mention anything about performance?
Patch within a week
I’ll wait for this...been meaning to install it, but I hear it has some bugs of varying degrees
Another crash at the end of a long flight. Getting really annoying and this one wasn't joystick related. Sadly I might have to shelve this for a bit, getting too frustrating. The GPS and ATC are just not working properly either, and the weather engine isn't quite right either.
Yeah. There are definitely some annoying bugs. The other day I handed takeoff rotation to my co-pilot. The guy flew me into a row of trees. Not just once but twice...
Also had unexplained deceleration into a nearly unrecoverable spin due to AI co-pilot and various other suicidal maneuvers. Auto-pilot in the Airbus also needs some work.
The other day I set the nav points. Entered them into the computer. Altitude, airspeed, etc. Gave it over to autopilot at 29,000 feet. 6 hour flight to Dubai. Went and did some stuff around the house, took a nap. Went back to my computer and come to find out autopilot had crashed into a mountain..
I know this game is mainly a PC game and typically a niche genre . But could this be a system seller on Series X?

It is possible, I've seen lots of casuals on Youtube just flying around looking at the scenery DrDisrespect even took a break from his usual FPS games to try.
Still a hard sell long term though for anyone not really interested in aviation. Flying around looking at your house would only last so long.
If you ever wanted to see the anti-MS bias in action, this article, in my very humble personal opinion, is the epitome of it.
They actually compare the technology that renders the scenery to the Stadia.
Again, just my personal opinion that anyone is free to not listen to, but this kind of garbage pisses me off.
Zero mention of how you can download data offline (many people do that now for better performance) and no mention about how downloading every inch of earth would be impossible.
Microsoft Flight Simulator: The Kotaku Review
One of the first places I wanted to fly in Microsoft Flight Simulator was the Grasberg Mine, an open pit mine high in the Sudirman Mountain Range of Indonesia.kotaku.com
I mean its Kotaku. I'm not expecting any kind of integrity or fact checking from them.
