Microsoft Surface 2 Presentation Event (LiveBlog)

Thanks for the info! I'm in need of new tablet so I was waiting for the iPad 5. Lets see if this one will call my attention :D

The price really hurt them and they need to get apps on the store much quicker that said what Surface does it does very well IMO.

still cheaper than a ipad, and much more powerful than the 300-399 galaxy tab 3 10.1. I think the price point is perfect imo. Plus they have what 135,000 apps in the windows store?

I should go on and publish some of my own (i have a couple already done, and i could adapt a simple game i made with Unity). Unfortunately i don't have time anymore since i'm changing job in a few days and i'm kissing my spare time goodbye :(
 
I'm a little surprised they didn't update the ports on the new unit, maybe add some more ports on the bottom to accept a more standard form-factor docking cradle. But the fact that there will be a dock at all is a huge improvement. At some point this tablet is going to explode in the corporate world.
 
Sadly, this thing could be a million times better than the iPad, but it will never sell like an iPad.
 
had to be better than the surface I have now... I have the RT, and it is nice, but nowhere near as "fun" as the iPad. It does have its advantages, but overall, the iPad still owns it
