I'm more surprised the The Show 22 is going to be on gamepass. Thought The Show 21 would be one and done and going forward the rest would be not on it.

Tried uploading my The Show 21 RTTS player to cloud then when I try to download it on The Show 22 it doesn’t show up. WTF!

Any tips for hitting the ball?

The #1 thing is finding the right camera angle for you. Each angle sort of has pluses and minuses and often makes certain pitches harder to hit. For example a low camera makes it hard to pick up high fastballs, a high camera makes the low stuff harder to pick up. I try to stick to something right in the middle of the zone, but find what works for you (offspeed stuff is always nasty to pick up).

The other key is patience. Take a lot of pitches. If the pitch looks like it might catch the zone on the edge, let it go and wait for something to hit. Look for something in the middle of the plate to drive. Make the pitcher show you many pitches and work into the count. The nasty stuff can be hittable, but you'll probably just make an out. If they get 3 good pitches right on the edge of the zone, move on to the next one. Make them get behind in the count and you'll start seeing stuff more over the plate.

Always remember to take a look at what the pitcher throws and be ready too.

This stuff is hard though. I was in school facing nasty sliders already and I quickly realized I needed to study more as I was never going to make it as a pro baseball player.

Last years game I used “The Show 16” batting view. Tried a few this morning and I really like “Wide” batting view. Easier to see when it’s going high/low or outside the zone. Still tough hitting off speed pitches in any view.
