New Kombat-Kast tomorrow at I believe 1:00 PM Pacific, they will be revealing a female character.

Also this isn't using UE4 it's just a heavily modified version of UE3, crazy how much better it looks than any UE4 fighting game (and many other types of game games overall) out there.

Replace Mileena with a Tarkatan clone of Cassie Cage.

I knew it looked like Mk X and was likely Unreal 3 engine lol

Looks much better than MKX which already looked great, this is by far the best looking fighting game this generation and frankly one of the best looking games overall. As good as it looks in videos the people who actually played it say that the videos don't do it justice and that it looks even better in person. Your obsession with UE3 vs UE4 seems a bit silly considering how much better NRS is doing with their highly modified version of UE3 compared to Namco and Capcom's anemic efforts with UE4.

Looks almost identical which it should using the same dated engine..

SFV is much more advanced as is the UE4.
Then we have the TERRIBLE animations of Never Realm that pale in comparison but no need to repeat that.

If you think they look almost identical you are out of your mind lol, not even going to bother talking about this with you anymore after this post. You never bothered to come back to this thread and post at all until you saw the thing about the engine. The reveal has done nothing but draw praise for how good it looks and you keep focusing on something silly. Also the animations in this game look good as have their last few games, you keep harping on things that just aren't true anymore, yeah the animations were iffy in past games but this gen has been a different story.

SFV looks like crap (as do all of the UE4 fighting games so far), flat background, nothing special about it's animations, awful art design I could go on and on. Do you know how an engine works? They have done so much work on top of it that the game looks like a generational leap over the previous game and I'm not the only person to say that. The engine is just a part of it, if you don't know how to use it and improve upon it than what's the point? Japanese fighting game devs haven't done anything worth a damn with UE4 so far, NRS clearly knows what they are doing with UE3 and they have modified it significantly.

Yeah looks exactly the same lol.

Jade reveal.

Decent finisher.

Lots of absurdly long range melee, but I still like what I see. I've pre-ordered this game and

That was badass. I've never really played her before but I might in this one.

Same here, she's never been a character I cared to play as but they've done a good job with her here.

The ability to tune special ability to your playstyle had me excited. SO far I like Sub zero and Jade.
