I got some Jinsei Augments for Scorpion. One of them significantly boosts the Demon Dash distance which is kind of nice.

Mostly though added fire damage plus chance for Ignition which causes additional fire damage. I added Chaos Type augments that also contribute Fire Damage. What this means is stacking Augment damage that destroys characters quite fast.


EDIT: Okay I gotta post a clip. This is massive damage over time just from the first hit.

EDIT EDIT: The constant massive damage can make it tricky to do a Brutality before they die. Still a badass outro.

BTW "leaks" suggest 3 new DLC characters, Rain, Mileena and Rambo so we'll see how true that ends up being. It seems that info was data mined.

Me too, really wanted him in this game so I hope that "leak" is true. I also would have loved a human form reptile as well but that's not going to happen I'm sure.

Yepp, Rain, Ermac lizard all look so much better being more of a pallet swap of sub zero/scorpion than the monsters they've become.

Rain has come out the best of the 3, his somewhat regal outfits at least fit him being a demi-god but Ermac is unrecognizable and they've just gone too far with Reptile.

MK doesn't work well in 3D, no fighting games with projectiles do, the series was in decline until they went back to 2D and it had a huge resurgence so I wouldn't look for them to go back to 3D any time soon. I'm guessing Injustice 3 will be their next game, hopefully they surprise us and work out a way to make it Marvel vs DC but if not I think the series is great and I'm looking forward to another, I just hope they give Superman more moves and completely re-work Wonder Woman and Aquaman.

If Injustice 3 is the next game I hope it's next gen only and they can make every background more interactive and destructible in some way, Injustice 2 didn't have as many arenas with transitions as the first one and I think they need to get back to having more of them.

3D is awkward for gameplay, but would be awesome to trigger 3D camera shots.

I mean for now the Fatal Blows take the view into the fight in a more dynamic way. The FATALITIES do as well.

It would be cool to put a new camera move on the Brutalities or Krushing Blows.

Another possibility might be classic Full Bar Supermoves that games like Street Fighter or Dragonball FighterZ have that include special animations as they trigger. This would be tricky to add in without looking cheesy though, but it could work.
 
So we're getting Mileena back plus Rain and fvcking Rambo?

New Skin Pack looks badass on Skarlet and Noob, but could care less about Liu Kang.

Was never that big into Rambo, but I did see the first kind of reboot movie that was badass.

I wish they detailed what the PS5/Series X upgrades were going to be other than dynamic 4K.

So... They took Rambo from 3-4, that's great but I'm still perplexed that they didn't give us a T2 skin for Arnold, that would've been an epic showdown.

Robocop is nearly perfect but Terminator is not quite right. I think they couldn't resist stearing it towards promoting another bad Terminator movie.

Terminator as a character is a mess; they can't decide whether to portray his Hero or Villain versions.

Endoskeleton should have been it's own skin, not wasted on a variation move that sucks anyway. I kind of get then it would be weird in the intros with the Endoskeleton speaking his dialogue, but just mute it and add the sounds of metal feet and the servos of the red eyes focusing. There should have been a Future Blaster alternative to the shotgun to go with the Endoskeleton skin.

I think The Terminator's Sunglasses gear shows people are just confused on how to put this character together.

Just some nitpicks, it's not all bad, but could have been much better.

As for Rambo, I'm hoping to see lots of gun play, but also savage knife attacks.

Also, glad to see Skarlet in the new skin pack.
