One thing in that interview with Bethesda and Major Nelson that stood out is that they all saw the checklist meme from Phil Spencer’s wife’s office going around the web. I figured these multi millionaire guys would be so busy that they didn’t follow social media to that degree. But they know about the checklist, the Craig’s, the XBONE, etc.

I'm in the same situation, but the inspection for the new house came back with all kinds of issues around the exterior paneling and crawl space. If the sellers don't fix it or adjust the price accordingly we're walking, but the fam and I will be in limbo for a while.

We started the process of getting a brand new house built from the ground up. Completion/closing in on April.
We are waiting on approval of the plans for the septic work that needs to be done.
Just starting a new build myself. Got a vein pumping on the side of my forehead and we haven’t even broken ground yet. Stressful.

Yeah. Im still shook over it. Played a bunch of Bethesda games over the weekend. The gain Xbox has with these titles are overwhelming! Crazy..
Until the buyout, I never realized that Arkane was two studios. It's a lot like Playground in this regard. This is the Prey studio. Looking at release cadences and when they finished up the expansion for Prey, my bet is a 2022 release.
With them saying new AAA project instead of IP it has to be Prey or Dishonored IMO. Usually companies try to be clear on those things.
They are the Prey team. Wouldn't be sad if its another Prey. That said, descriptions of the game make it sound much more ambitious than anything they've done before. Thought they already confirmed it wasn't Prey.
Edit: Heard Rand mention today that it was likely going to be a sequel so it looks like you're right. He's pretty connected. Another Prey would be nice.
