New PlayStation Event, PSX2.0? UPDATE Pushed To August?

A 30 minute show and 9 mins spent on one game. Not good.
It's a state of play, what do you expect? They paid for deathloop as a timed exclusive (mistake IMO) so they are going to promote it. They already told everyone what to expect and what not to expect so what's the problem?

I was expecting an E3 level presser.

The problem is a 30 minute show with a 3rdy gamre taking up a third of it. Pretty sure I just said this.

It's your problem for expecting something that was never announced, it's not an E3 level thing and they never said it was going to be.

It is my problem for expecting something at a time where we always get that thing. LOL. Ok, dude.

That is the biggest unfortunate thing about them bailing from E3 is why have no idea when they are going to do their big show. It will happen but who knows when.

They haven't done anything like that in years, 2018 was the last E3 and their last PSX was 2017 so yeah it's your problem for not paying attention and just assuming things. Hopefully they do a big show, they've trademarked PSX so maybe they'll bring that back since they have new hardware but they've already released 5 games since the PS5 launched and we know of a Ghost of Tsushima expansion and possibly Horizon FW coming this year as well as some timed exclusive 3rd party and indie stuff (that counted for Xbox E3 so it counts for PlayStation) So I could see them not doing anything until December (IF PSX is brought back) and being fine, of course I'd love a big event too but based on recent history I'm not expecting one anytime soon.

I don't think anyone is talking about them going on a stage for 2 hours. Everyone assumes they will do a major State of Play because they probably will and it because its overdue.

I don't know why anyone is expecting that when they haven't done anything like that since dropping E3. Every big first party release gets a state of play before launch but they haven't done one with a group of AAA 1st party games so far so it seems silly to expect it now. If it happens great I'm all for it but that's not what the last few years has been like.

I guess they didn't use the State of Play title but they did two major showcases for the PS5 last summer. Sony still does these shows and we know one is going to happen sooner rather than later. You are wrong to say they haven't done them.

They did a PS5 reveal show yes and a follow up show where GOW was announced, they had a new console coming out and that had to be hyped up as well as all of the launch/launch window games shown but that's not where we are now. Many of the games announced and shown at those events have been released or are releasing soon, HFW just had it's own state of play. I don't know why you would expect an E3 level show again so soon after the HFW state of play. I'm sure they'll do something in the next couple of months but saying "not good" because their state of play isn't living up to unrealistic expectations just seems like wanting to complain.

Not interested in Deathloop. I want to see more Horizon Forbidden West

It doesn't have to be E3 level but we know they will do a bigger show than this so of course its a disappointment.

Are you serious? Everybody was expecting this to be exactly what I was expecting. New GoW trailer this. New games that.

You people are a joke.
