I keep seeing this around the web, but has this actually been confirmed? I'm sure they were ready to move onto Star Wars, but I doubt they "rushed" it. They're just not particularly good writers, as seen by what happened when they ran out of source material. They rushed the final season of GoT for this. Should have taken their time.

Wanna bet?Internet and social media generation will make sure disney cancels this.
I bet your a betting man.If I was a betting man, yes.... But I'm not.
If I was a betting man I'd bet that I wasn't a betting man... I bet (if I'd bet, which I don't)I bet your a betting man.
Naw, they kinda like him now.Internet and social media generation will make sure disney cancels this.
I was a kid when they, ep 1-3, were released....I can still remember the cow for the thx intro and how the whole theater shook when the pod racers flew by, it was intense, especially the music for the fight scene with maul.... I’ve yet to watch episodes 4-6 *runs awayEp 1-3 > Ep 7-9
YesEp 1-3 > Ep 7-9
One person in charge of a trilogy and taking their time is the better way to do it though if you are going to do a trilogy.I really wish they just make a few completely different singular movies in different eras that hold up on their own and may or may not be able to be optioned into sequels later if well received, rather than jump into it assuming trilogy from the beginning. These kind of predetermined trilogies rarely (almost never) end up good, and Disney's already shown they have no clue how to do it.
Well one thing I will say about ep 1 and 2 is that while they are unquestionably garbage they are at least very memorable.I just watched the ep 9 again....I didn't remember half the scenes lol
1 yes, 2 and 3 are fine, not bad movies by any stretch imoWell one thing I will say about ep 1 and 2 is that while they are unquestionably garbage they are at least very memorable.
2 might be worse than 1. 3 is good.1 yes, 2 and 3 are fine, not bad movies by any stretch imo
Nostalgia? The first one was s***ted on universally by EVERYONE lol2 might be worse than 1. 3 is good.
They are extremely bad but nostalgia and fanboyism blinds people.
And for good reason but that doesn't mean people can't be nostalgic for it. Even the worst moments of the sequel trilogy look like The Godfather compared to Ep 1 and 2.Nostalgia? The first one was s***ted on universally by EVERYONE lol
The other 2 wasn't, as movies they are fine.
Star wars isn't schindler's list, they're sci-fi soap operas (at least Lucas movies), for what they're going for, they're fine.
I agree to disagree with you about being right, I agree with myself about being right. And for good reason but that doesn't mean people can't be nostalgic for it. Even the worst moments of the sequel trilogy look like The Godfather compared to Ep 1 and 2.
Second one was hated just about as much. At least it doesn't have Jar Jar so it probably more watchable but if you imagine a world where either is the only star wars movie that ever existed nobody would say that they are "fine".
That sounds good to me as it really as based off nostalgia from the original two movies which were legitimate movie classics but that was a long ass time ago.
