New Switch? OLED Baby, Preorders Go Live At 12pm PST In The States

They really have some greedy business ways. The half baked 3D Mario all star thing selling for full price is hilarious and tarnishes their legacy... The sad part is people buy it.
I was one of them because my family wanted to play them lol. I tried the Mario 64 one night and boy are those graphics rough.

I'll probably wait. I basically never play my Switch docked.

Also, didn't read the whole thread, but I assume all games will be backwards compatible? And everything existing on the switch today will work on this new version?

They best be lol

  • They reiterate a holiday launch in 2021
  • Hardware sales will either remain flat or grow slightly due to revision.
  • Higher expectations are placed on the Switch Pro (that's what it's referred to in the article) than the PS4 PRO which sold 2M launch window.
  • Launch quarter (Sep-Dec) could reach up to 12M units sold.
  • According to the hardware forecast they speculate that the MSRP could be higher for the revision upwards of 20%
  • Zelda is a strong launch game candidate with several round out titles to accompany it.
  • The performance of this revision is expected to be in line with the PS4 PRO and XBOX One X.

- Pretty much same size but with bigger OLED screen (7 inches?), so almost no bezels.

- Current joycons compatible.

- Surface-style flap for tabletop gaming.

- Micro SD slot behind this flap on the back. Easier to acess to.

- Slightly thicker dock with 2 USB 3.0 ports and ethernet port.

- 4K TV output.

- It would arrive Europe at the end of November (this is not confirmed) with very limited units.

Now prob a good time to sell your existing switch unit before they drop in price at resellers.
Not planning on buying the new Switch as long as BOTW2 is on the original.

edit: Meant to include that it's awfully tempting to want to sell mine though. Could probably get 200 for it.

I play mine almost daily....

EDIT: My fiancé plays Animal Crossing almost daily....
Some people dont like great platformers and adventure games. It’s all about FPS for some. Switch is one of the greatest systems ever though. Hopefully the Pro is real. Still havent bought an Xbox series X because there still isnt s*** to play on it.
