Feel like playing the first one again but don't feel like hooking up the PS3.

They need to release an up-resed version of the first game, or include it with preorder like South Park. I always wanted to play the first one, but it released at the end of the generation and I was holding off for PS4 and X1 games.

Agreed. I actually have the first one but like you said end of the generation and just not feeling it at the time, I didn't get far. I've thought about giving it another go but not sure I want to bother dragging out the PS3 again. Or if Sony wanted to be nice enough and give us digital backwards compatibility that would be cool as well.

I tend to do the same thing. This is why I'm glad that there may no longer be traditional generations. I always seem too miss out on the later titles. I hope they do remaster it, though. I heard it was really good.

Gives me more time to finish the first game. Now to find the time to play the first game.

Delayed is a dirty word. Let's think of it as taking their time to polish up what's sure to be another great game.

"Delays are always a good thing," I keep telling myself. I get a lot of practice.

Still not sure if this game is for me.

translated to English:

"It seems that the alleged leak of Ni No Kuni II: The Rebirth of a Kingdom as part of the catalog for Xbox One was very accurate. The media specialist Xbox Generation points out that several sources of Bandai Namco claim that this JRPG will release for the Microsoft console. However, it will only be in digital format.

This version, with no official release date, does not appear to have a physical edition except in the United Kingdom, pending the distributor to comment on it.

The Level 5 game is a beautiful JRPG with the aesthetic of Studio Ghibli, who actively collaborated in the first game, for Nintendo 3DS and PlayStation 3. However, the studio does not appear in the credits of the second instalment due to the closure of its production department and the change in its business model.

Ni No Kuni II will be released in January 2018 , being one of the most anticipated titles, and a very good way to start the year. Let's hope that Xbox users do not have to wait too long to enjoy it."

I would love for this to be true. But what I can see happening is one of 2 things: 1. The rumor is completely false. 2. The rumor is true but will released sometime after the PS4 and PC version.

That would be cool. The game needs more support. Some Xbox fans would like it.

digital only makes sence, saves on cost and they could price it cheaper than retail.
