I think I'll keep calling it by its original name: Zune Studio Kinect Edition.

Xbox E3 will be streamed in 4k on Mixer

https://blog.mixer.com/welcome/?ocid=Evergreen_soc_omc_xbo_tw_video_lrn_5.25.1

We’re also committed to making Mixer the premier place to watch Xbox at E3 June 11-15. Today, we’re excited to announce that Xbox will be broadcasting the E3 briefing in 4K Ultra HD, with a special edition Mixer 4K broadcast for those with a 4K A/V setup ready to go. And, there will be some special digital bonuses for those watching and signed in on Mixer. Be sure to create your account in advance so you don’t miss out on any of the fun.

Using it now. Seems to have a couple bugs but it's good.

But we should be able to get rid of the chat bar

In the wake of E3, Microsoft is the latest to be hit by what appears to be a targeted round of layoffs. While layoffs of any sort in any department are bound to be devastating, the positions that have been affected appear to be related to the original content teams handling Inside Xbox and, as of today, Mixer. The Inside Xbox layoffs quietly happened prior to E3.

Meh, never understood the concept, maybe I'm just old idk
I do watch YouTube videos of games but mostly to see if game is good.
Good for ninja guy though, surely a huge money deal, ms prob get it's money's worth too?

Only watch the GiantBomb lot now.

The YouTube lot who make videos about everything without saying anything get on my nerves.

Only use mixer at E3. Rest of the year I have 0 interest in any of them.

I've only used Mixer to see hot gamer chicks. The few I've found were ether so annoying or r******d that I turned them off after a few minutes.

I don’t get why people watch people play games.

To get a look at a game ok, anything beyond that a waste of time.

Kinda agree with ya...kids do love watching let’s play (cartoons are no longer on standard channels), mostly for their “perceived personalities”. I guess the closest thing it would equate to is if you put a cam on a coach and hear them bark out plays while staying topical or replying to fans who couch coach

I know, if I did it, I'd be doing it for competitive games to try to improve my play. You can see how the top players use the maps to their advantage in FPSs, see how they use certain fighters in fighting games, etc. I don't have time to do that though. I watch once in a long while at work when it fancy's me. I haven't yet watched any live high level competition.

I assume most of it is younger kids. Supposedly a lot of the big Destiny players stream every day. Not sure who watches all that, as most of us have to go to work.

Ninja's audience is mostly young kids but its not like that for everyone.

Not a stream watcher, but know plenty of people who are. IDK, watching people play video games has never been my thing, but if you can profit off it then I say go for it. Dude probably made 7 figures off this deal alone, and apparently twitch has been kind of a pain to deal with recently, so more competition is a good thing.

It is actually great way to get better at games. Especially more complex competitive games like PUBG or sim racers or FIFa.

Also a great way to see if a game is good or not.

I’ve watched plenty of videos for info but not more than a few minutes of someone streaming a game unless its some sort of premier for something new. However, there are some guys who I find entertaining and watch even if I’m not even playing or own the game shown in the video. Destiny players like Datto and Mtashed are guys who give good info while remaining fun to watch. The always entertaining Mr. Fruit plays a ton of different games and always makes me laugh and there is this awesome guy named SuperGT who uploads awesome races of Gran Turismo Sport and Forza who also races in real life. I don’t even own those sim racers and yet I’ll watch a 20min race because his commentary and race gameplay is so much fun to watch.
