Is there anyway to increase/boost the range of the controller? I'm not talking outside of the house or anything just around the house. I find it ridiculous Nintendo would put out a quite brilliant controller with minimal range.

You'd be wrong. Love the controller but the range sucks. They're using some modified version of wifi which apparently has s*** range. I maybe get 15 ft. Range which limits its usefulness as a portable gaming device around the phone.
Mines not bad in anyway as In it doesn't effect my gameplay at all it's perfect for where the Wii U is located at the house it's just I'd love to go to bed and chuck on Mario Kart and have a few games before bed. If this was possible I would use the Wii U so much more, it's a shame.
I can leave the room with the GamePad and it still stays connected to my Wii U. Maybe it's just yours?
