Nintendo Online + Expansion

All in all, I like what I see. I'm disappointed that Paper Mario isn't part of the first wave of N64 games, but we somehow get Dr. f***ing Mario. Super Mario 64 and Ocarina of Time have either been easily made available to play online or remastered/released enough times to make me not care as much. Hell, I already have 3D All Stars. Why waste a spot with a game already available to play on the switch? I guess Nintendo did stop printing 3D All Stars. It does make the omission of Super Mario Galaxy 2 more bitter. Winback and Sin & Punishment are two nice obscure additions. I think people not familiar with those titles are gonna be in for a nice treat. I'm more looking forward overall to the games they plan to expand with like Banjo-Kazooie, Kirby 64, Pokemon Snap, Mario Golf, F-Zero X, and of course Paper Mario are much more appealing to me. Fingers crossed we get Quest 64 and the Goemon games. I'd also like to see them bring the N64 version of Resident Evil 2 over if possible. I never played that version, and I've always been interested in playing it because it's apparently quite a solid port.

As for the other stuff, Mario movie cast announced, but I'm meh on it until I see a trailer, super excited for Kirby and the Forgotten Lands. It's giving me heavy Biomutant vibes and I like it. The new releases like Castlevania Advance Collection and Actraiser do peak my interest. Glad to see Bayonetta 3 is finally getting released. Hopefully we get the first two games released at some point as well on the Switch. Not very interested in the rest.

Oh man I remember Quest 64. That battle system was pretty cool back then.

I saw that the Final Fantasy Tactics like game isn’t coming out till early next year. Bummer I ready for that one.

What’s also funny/f’ed up is they haven’t even released anything worthwhile on their service (NES/SNES games) in a long time. Now they wanna charge extra for something they could’ve just added to the service.

So apparently Nintendo has stated that the Animal Crossing DLC, if you download and use it, won't entirely be available if the subscription stops. You get to keep certain unlocked items, but areas with the DLC will be unavailable. So I'm presuming that any future DLC will be handled similarly, if not just 100% unavailable without a subscription. Meanwhile, Xbox Live and PS Plus offer a free game monthly that you get to keep even without the subscription. It's like Nintendo wants everyone to know how inferior their product is, but mobile.

To be faaaiiirrr I thought PS+ games required an ongoing sub to play those games.

I'm basing the PS+ stuff on what my friend has told me. Xbox Live from experience. Personally, I've always been under the impression that PS+ games continue to be owned even after the sub ends.

I'm just now seeing the controllers. Please tell me those N64 and Sega controllers, and the prices, are just a bad sense of humor.

If that is real why not just release the NES Advantage for $99.99?

Alright, but like videos posted in here have stated, aren't most if not all of the Sega games already available in collections? Why even bother with those games if it's going to jack up the price. Just add N64 and GameCube and I would have easily forgiven the extreme price.
