Nintendo Working On Wii U's Successor?

Of course they are, just as the Microsoft and Sony teams are about to get back from their sabbaticals and start the first explorations about now to what to do next. Brainstorming sessions, try to predict where the industry is going, talk with hardware suppliers like AMD, Intel and Nivida where they think they should be going. Start thinking of hiring people to help with the internal design documentations, planning and theoretical designs... etc.

These things take years to design :).

In Europe we usually did call it that and the SNES was just called "The Super Nintendo". So in a way the "Nintendo" was the NES if you lived in a European country :p. N64 was "Nintendo 64" :p.

Doubt it, because Nvidia is a bitch to work with if are a hardware console designer. Both Microsoft and Sony ended up cursing their name in the end. And knowing how much Nintendo likes to get prices down, and make a profit from the very start, they probably wouldn't be able to get anywhere with the boys in Green.

Not that I don't want it, I would love to see Nvidia's take on Console Graphics in the next gen (xBone, PS4 and WiiU are current Gen). But I just doubt they will get to an agreement with Nintendo.
