No Sigs? or, I need to propperly post X to be allowed to have one?

No sigs at the time. I'd prefer that as well as no one cares what your sig holds. Put it in your user profile and let people view it there if they really care. Less clutter as well when viewing threads.

I don't think Viktor meant your sig so much as anybodys sig in general , There have been several people who used there sig as a means to insult or demean others on the forums so Admin has disabled it.
 
People that don' like sigs can easily click the "don't show signatures with posts" checkbox like a normal website.
 
There are plentiful of posters that spoke against sigs and thus, it was decided that sig is no more.
 
Yeah, sigs just clutter up the forum. No need for them. Like was said, you can put whatever statement you want in your profile, where people can view it if they want to. I've never seen the benefit, personally.
 
The only time I ever use a sig is to specify my PC hardware in PC forums for the purpose of not having to confuse users when requesting technical support etc.
 
Oh hay, I just noticed that my sig is gone. This would be mine:
