This console seems to be the straw that broke the camels back for a lot of YouTube Xboys like Crapgamer sending them to Sony's camp. Lol
I don't know why anyone would be upset about this or overly excited about it. I was thinking they'd have made it smaller not just removed the slot from the shell but I'm sure this was a much cheaper option than having an entirely different machine to manufacture.

I think what you will see is about 3 months of them selling at $250, just to get the fanboys who can't live without it, then by the fall it will drop to 199.99 like the "S" did with an unofficial $50 cut at retail. MS still lists the S at 299.99, but you can't throw a stick and not hit a retail outlet selling it for $249 with a game or two.
I agree though, it should have launched at 199.99.
Also agree how frigging laughable it is that people on the Sony camp can possibly spin this release as a bad thing. All this is, is an option. You now have the same console footprint without a noisy drive and the extra heat generated by the drive gone. Otherwise, same solid performing "S" model.
Yeah at least give it a cool new sleek design. Microsoft is making some weird decisions lately.
i would have definitely recommended some small form factor. You don't have a need for all that internal space. I get it that they didn't want to retool the system, but damn MS... make it "COOL" so people want it. This won't stand out to anyone as being special.
