Can't believe no one has created the thread about comic book. How dare you! Okay. Here it is. :D I just bought Wolverine #10 (just came out today). This story arc is called "Killable" and will be 6 issues long. Thus far, I'm in part 3 of 6 and things aren't looking good for Wolverine (poor him!). It's difficult to predict what will happen to him at the end of Arc. Paul Corner (the same writer who wrote Doctor Who on TV series) states that Logan will be facing a lot of difficult situation in the future and will shock many readers out there. Perhaps that means Wolverine will... dare I say it... die? I am keeping my eyes closer to this huge event at the end of arc!

Now about digital. I know I did stated a few times in comic book thread (Teamxbox) that I will always support both digitial copies and original (physical-copies of comic books) for collection purpose. But now, adimttedly, I've thought about going with digital-only option. You see, all comic books always coming out on every Wednesday and I have to work that day (10 long hours). By the time I finish work, I am always being tired and doesn't feel like driving to comic book store so often before coming home. To do this (from store to home) will take about an extra 5 to 10 minutes. I'm starting to get tired of doing this.

On Marvel.com and DCComies.com, both offer a lot of digitial-copies with a single click-buy. I thought to myself "Wow, this is a lot easier and I probably will start doing that from now on." I also have noticed that a lot of older comic books on the sites are a lot cheaper than phsycial comic books. So that leads me to the conclusion: Slowly but surely, I probably will go with Digitial-only option in order to save money and time.

At the moment, the only title I'm currently following is Wolverine (5th series). I've been following Wolverine ever since I was in high school (more than 15 years ago!). As money allows, I will try my best to expand a bit more on buying other series such as Batman/Superman, X-Men or whatever that interests me. How about yourself? What titles are you following?

I've been reading a bit more of Hellboy as of late. Kind of caught up to where his overall story arc is currently at. Had no clue he went back to hell. Very cool story arc.

Where's my Hellboy 3 the movie?! :txbmad: Been waiting so long for this!

Who knows. Guillermo Del Toro said the Halo and Hobbit movie would take up his time, but he obviously never got around to those. Would love for H3 to be made.

Oh hellboy is coming. Right after Mountain of madness, Justice league dark, the Strain and some foreign horror films. :hehe:

As for comics; I've been reading all of DC's villains month, and they're great so far.

Been enjoying theses series as of late.

Tempting to get All-New X-Men. How was it? I've only seen the preview of the first issue and thought it was good. That was a year ago, lol. I think Marvel needs to stop coming up with so many 'X-Men" title. In fact, The Amazing X-Men is coming out next month. Whoa, mamma. Slow down, Marvel, lol. It's very difficult to keep up with a lot of issues major because of heavy price tag ($2.99-$3.99).

All New X-Men is dope...hell all the X-Men books are dope. The Battle of the Atom event is really good

My weekly hauls usually change, but all in all I'm currently reading

Astonishing X-Men (Warbird? Warbird)
All New X-Men
Batwoman (Don't even ask me how I feel about J.H. Williams III and Haden Blackman's departure, ugh).
Avengers
Buffy
Angel & Faith
Willow
Fear Agent (Remender!!!!)
Guardians of the Galaxy
Scarlet Spider
Fearless Defenders (awww Yisss, Hippolyta whoopin ass!)
Superior Spiderman (f*** the haters!)
Ulimate Comics Spiderman (only good thing left about Ultimates universe)
Thor God of Thunder (seriously f***ing amazing)
Uncanny X-Men (hit and miss)
Uncanny Avengers (Remender is doing f***ing work! It literally picks up where his X-Force left off).
X-Men (I keep forgetting Pyslocke is considered an Omega level mutant now...)

@Ketto, can you keep up with Superior Spiderman? I can't believe that it has been releasing bi-weekly since the begin of this year. And by the end of this year, it'll reach #24. Why can't all other comic books do the same?! No fair, lol.

Superior Spiderman is one of the best things to happen to the Spiderman comic, I love it.

Batman
Guardians of the Galaxy
Nova
All New X-Men
Saga

Does anyone know why Marvel doesn't have entire issue being available in digital format? At Marvel.com, as I was searching through old issues from 60s, 70s and 80s, I've noticed that there are missing between issues. Are they adding more as the time goes by or what? It'd be pure awesome if they, literally, have every single issue in digital format.

New Black Widow and Elektra books announced at NYCC, along with a Captain Marvel reboot. SQUEEEEE!

EDIT: More importantly, has anyone been reading Infinity? Because OMG, it's amazing. Easily the best Marvel event in like, forever.

I've always been very hesitant on reading Loeb's Nova series starring his son.

I found the first three or four issues to be pretty entertaining. Since then, I've about completely lost interest. It takes a downward turn IMO around the point where Superior Spider-Man make an appearance. Not because of, but it's just an accurate marker to the beginning of the downward spiral.

Update: Be sure to check out DC site. They're offering a lot of free #1 issues now through Monday/Tuesday. Be sure to grab them while it lasts.

I am so far behind on books it's not even funny. It's been probably two months since I read anything.

Things are bit slow for me lately. Wolverine is releasing an issue per month. Ugh. Wish they hurry up and release more. I like bi-weekly to make things go faster. Lucky Superior Spider-Man. Bi-weekly for a year straight! And still doing that in early 2014.

I can see the bi-weekly thing to be good so that it's obviously less time between reads, but also a lot more cost to it. If I only read a couple books I guess I'd want bi-weekly.

Feels appropriate to post this here: WB and DC Planning to release lower budget comicbook movies each year to go along with their headliners link http://www.bleedingcool.com/2013/12...-films/?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter

Not bad. That's good to start something small and, who knows, it could become bigger in the next couple of years. I'll be gladly to support the movies, whatever it may be, to help out. WB/DC needs to make sure the movies are good and enjoyable.

What I find interesting is that in most cases, the animated DC films are way better than any of the live-action stuff that WB attempts. Batman probably being the only exception. Sometimes.

Ketto thoughts on Superior Spider-Man and going back to Amazing? I stopped reading Superior Spider-Man around issue 10 maybe as I just wasn't enjoying it, but now that it's going back to Amazing I may pick it up again.

Edit: although now that I read into it more, the 700.x issues aren't permanent. Never mind...

I stopped getting the book regularly, but I still pick up an issue here and there on occasion. It's an interesting take on Spider-Man, and after having Parker in the role for so long, I think it's a nice change of pace. Certainly some people think it's blasphemy, having anyone other than Peter Parker being Spider-man, but it's a step in the right direction for Marvel - trying different things instead of sticking to the status quo.

Hi, everyone. It's me again. ;) I'm still buying comic books still (currently following The Wolverine by Paul Corner). Lately, I've been thinking a lot and wanted to enter DC world. After a long and hard thoughts, I've decided that I want to follow Superman Unchained. Have anyone read it yet? I'll bet it's good because of the writer (Scott) and I love Jim's artworks. I probably will purchase Superman Unchained #1 tonight aka digital from www.comixology.com.
