As an FYI to anyone who bought any of the dlc passes or claimed their free day one and launch packs (there are 2 free packs available, so make sure you dl both), you can actually immediately download these cars in the DLC section of the game.

If you click on a pack or pass, it will immediately show you the cars in that pack and let you dl them if you've bought or claimed the dlc. This is fantastic, as you don't have to scroll through all 200+ cars in the game to find them!

Btw, I actually got 3 cars on 3 separate rolls when leveling up last night! Two of them were cars I probably would have eventually bought too!

One of them was the "grand prize" And I actually got 100,00 credits in addition to the car! (double that since I'm VIP, so 200k!).

I was pretty happy. ;)

I am pretty sure I am at that part, I unlocked the car show after the first championship and could buy cars but none were free? I could see the little symbol which showed me what is a DLC car but they all cost credits, even my Gamestop pre order one? What am I missing?

Other then this I really like the game so far but I want my cars!!

I havent unlocked Car Clubs yet but im down to join when I do.

strange - my only advice is that you re-download the car packs and VIP pass - something is wrong. and reboot your X1
 
Yeah I have no idea how or where to get my day one car pack and my free car from demo. Any advice?

I guess I can try that, I am getting the double XP from the wheel spins so my VIP must be working? Strange??
 
This pretty much sums up FH2:

A meticulously crafted, marvelous-looking and superbly designed racer that dishes up an absolute feast of automotive madness and mayhem. Sheer brilliance through and through.

This was my experience as well.
 
I see FH2 is getting trolled on Metacritic. 20 "negative" user reviews (ratings), and not single detail as to why. Yet when you go to positive reviews, there are 30 reviews with written details.

God I love the internet......

I think it makes them available to purchase in game with your credits. You don't get them in your garage. FM5 was this way. You still have to "earn" them in game, I think. Not sure how I feel about that.
 
Really digging the game. Played a good amount last night after my Computer Organization class. It's really accessible for people like me who suck at racing games. I love the open world and the challenge.

The servers wouldn't let me buy any cars, managed to rack up 300k in credits in a couple of hours. Going to buy my favorite car, and my current whip, a Genesis Coupe.

The game immediately clicked for me when The Mother We Share by CHVRCHES came on while cruising. Love that band.

Might just be the Xbox One's best game.
 
86% at metacritics. Not bad. One of the highest rank game for a next gen console.
 
Hi everyone. I was a long time Teamxboxer ever since I was a beta tester on Xbox Live, finally signed up for this site. I'm a 33 yr old with 2 young kids and just looking for a group of people to play FH2 with for fun and not take it too seriously. Mind adding me to the club?

Eight races and an hour plus in and I am still waiting to unlock clubs. No freedom to choose what I want to do and features are still slowly being dribbled out. Not liking it. Where is my sandbox! Tell me it becomes like the original at some point and just lets me drive around the map picking and choosing events as I go. f*** this idea of series.
 
Best racer I've played. Speed, visuals, content, tight controls etc... Driving at high speed with hood view through rain and some old school buildings results in awesome reflections on the hood.

A few drawbacks:

- Being forced into cut-scenes and handholding from the annoying narrator in your first hour
- After you unlock free cars (pre-order deal or whatever), you still have to go to the Car buying tab and buy it for 0 CR
- To change cars you have to back to the garage instead of being able to swap on the fly
- Fast travelling back to the garage leads to a lengthy load time?!?!
- Only cockpit view I think has rearview mirror. I often play hood view! No mirror!

Make note that it is normal a bunch of tabs are greyed out. You have to level up to unlock them. I think I am level 3. Rivals and Online tabs unlocked, but Club tab is still greyed out. Also, after you level up a few levels more radio stations unlock.

When you choose free cars (8 free cars), that old F-100 pick up has an awesome Sanford and Son design someone made. Download it for free!

Hell yes, big smile from me too! Debaser into The War On Drugs (see my avatar) is a pretty great moment on one of the stations too.
