Ori and the Will of the Wisps - Tears will be Shed

Started playing last night and already in love with it, I have seen the framerate drop a couple of times but only for a quick second but only once where it actually caused a problem and when I tried again it ran smoothly. I don't know if the HDR is doing the game any favors, I'll have to swap it on and off in the console menu again but I think it may look better with HDR off. I do wish all games would give us the option of turning HDR on and off in the game menu so we don't have to change it in the console settings but that's a subject for another time. The game looks great, love the character designs and the backgrounds. We need more high end 2D games IMO, forget all of that indie pixel art crap lol.

I wish Capcom would quit being little b****es and release a 2D Ghouls & Ghosts game using art like this.

Yep and I would love a new Castlevania with high end graphics instead of the old pixelated stuff they kept going with for too long.

Good call on the Castlevania and Ghouls and Ghosts 2D remakes!

Imagine both of those with Ori-level graphics/sound?

I was tempted to go the hard route, but I probably will on a second playthrough in the future, game looks, plays and sounds spectacular, so amazing.

The game does dip transitioning to new areas on the X1X and have heard of more problems on the OG X1 so hopefully they get a patch out soon.

The game is gorgeous AF on X1X. Moon Studios really outdid themselves. Blind Forest started off nice too, but this ..this is something you NEED to share.

I've had a few occasions where I've stopped and thought, that just looks damn incredible! Does anyone know if you can disable the hud?

Enjoying it and looks great. Seeing quite a few frame rate slow downs even on x.

All I can say is that I actually have a little time to play this right now and GamePass on PC's download speeds are refried ass. I made the mistake of not turning the PC on the last couple of days after choosing remote install, so now I'm in blue balls land getting under 500KB/sec when I routinely pull in the 80MB/sec range. If only they knew about Azure CDN. :smash:

I like this game more than the first one because I do enjoy combat. I love the added combat. And the auto save has been a life saver for me. Much better than before.

I like the little Easter egg during the prologue. The game is beautiful. I might start over; I was kind of sleepy last night and I’m afraid I might have missed something.
