Yeah, I know- I'm a looter veteran and the endgame grind is why I installed the game, haha. Couldn't make it past like one wave though of either expedition I tried. Maybe I should just team up for a few of them, if they level you super quickly.
Which did you try? Do you have any kind of build going?

I would suggest Archways of Enoch. If it isn't there you can fast travel to a new destination which will change the available expeditions, or load in to an expedition then abondon it.

Haven't started running a specific build yet, figured I’d be okay until endgame but I guess I was wrong. My average gear level is 26 (I am 27), I started doing some side quests and was getting upgrades. I’ll look for that expedition as well.

I played some bounty/hunt follow by expedition with some random. Sadly, the "cannot use any attack" gitch hits again & again, & its ruins the gameplay. Could have gotten gold if not for not able to use any attack gitch hits a few times.

This has been a constant issue since I started playing the game, but dev deems NOT serious or widespread to fix it.

Maybe it is you?

Some skills you need to be a certain distance or fairly accurate aim, like the Venators blade on Trickster. If you have multiple uses of a skill but don't use them all then those used won't cooldown. Sometimes the UI will say they are ready to use when they aren't. Holding a skill button sometimes leads to long animations, I had this issuewith my Devestators Earthquake.

That's not what I experience. I cannot USE any action (other than movement), include shooting (1/2 the time with the big). I am not talking about using ability when there are no targets or the regular teleport weridity where you teleport on spot. You just can not use any ability (melee, shoot, ability)

horrible experience in coop with random. Can barely finish any expedition before the host connection lost. Sigh.

yeah it’s shockingly bad with ransoms. It seems the state of the game is getting worse when it comes to co-op.

I agree, connection issues are really bad with randoms. But there's some funny moments because of lag, particularly with a Devastator that uses Gravity Leap. Its probably not so funny for the end user who has that skill at the center of their build. but funny to watch them hang in the air and then see the delayed ka-boom.

I think I've just hit the same problem. I powered through the campaign on WT1 with my new Pyromancer character. I reached the end game Expeditions at level 26. My average gear score is around level 25. I am getting absolutely smashed in any CT1 mission I tried, which is essentially 5 gear levels higher than where I am at. I'm going to go back and do a few side missions and get my gear level up and character level up a bit higher.

You are just underleveled cause you made the mistake of not raising WT at all. When you finish the campaign you are almost level 27. Hit 27 and with WT6 (+3) and you are good to go. You have no choice but to raise your WT now. Best way to do that is the Unknown Presence side mission, but beware, it has the Paxian Homestead boss in it.

CT1 is easy at gear level 30 with a basic build.

I got my Pyro to endgame on Saturday and am alrealdy CT 12 gear level 47.

Top tip.... thanks dude.

Are you saying just play WT6 or so for a bit and get gear from that until gear level is 30? Is that how it works in this game?

Gear level is based on 2 things, your level and WT level (or challenge tier level when you reach expeditions). WT1 = -2, WT2 = -1, WT3 = 0 WT4 = +1, etc. At WT 1 and level 27 gear drops at gearl level 25. The WT adds to your level to give a max level possible.

Since you guys didn't do the easy WT6 via the campaign you now need to grind either XP or WT. The Unknown Presence side quest at WT 8 and above give roughly 1 quarter WT level per completion. Might be more at the much lower levels. Or, as far as I'm aware the Chystelloid boss at WT1 will give you like 2K XP per completion...think that is still the best XP grinder.

So, roughly 12 Side Quest runs. Or 150ish Chystelloid kills

I see, some of you guys completed the campaign on the lowest difficulty which explains why you're at such a low gear level. On my Technomancer I did every side mission along with the campaign and finished the story at lvl30 at WT 14. So my gear average is lvl41 I believe. And its why the early CT were so easy for me. I suspect if geared right the Technomancer has a easier go at things, the class just melts everything in its path so long as you also have the right mods. Currently on the hunt for a new piece of armor so I can slot in the newly acquired Captain Hunter mod, should make things even easier.

Now that I have a nice selection of decent mods I plan on transferring them to blue weapons and then putting them into my stash. Then I'll retrieve them with another class I'm working on for an early power boost. Should make the Devastator I started much more fun.

Yeah. I must have misunderstood what I was reading. People were saying it was pointless to keep upping the WT on the campaign but that doesn’t seem to be the case otherwise you end up like this. I beat the game on, I think, WT3. I didn’t up it throughout the game.

I’ll up the WT and grind that quest until I can get higher WT and thus gear level, should be good.

But are you going to do that again for another character?

Well, for the Devastator I have I don't think I'll do all the side content. I think I left my Dev at WT9 and once I transfer over some mods and get him slotted up I'll see how it performs. I think the lowest level the Expeditions start at is lvl37. So I think I'm on course to be at or near that level once I complete the campaign for that class.

Lowest is 31.

I thought it started higher for me since I was at a high World Tier when I completed the campaign. But I could be mistaken.

You know if the mod that gives you Golem for (3) seconds after each kill is any good? I forgot what legendary (think it was a shotgun) I got it from but immediately thought it could be great for a Devastator.

BTW this strat is working to perfection. Just a few runs of that quest and my power and WT has increased significantly.

If you finish the campaign at a higher WT you can start from tier 4(level 35) but tier 1 is level 31.

Haven't used that perticular perk, but 65% damage mitigation is big. If you can get kills quickly and often then it could be great. Oh, and it comes off the Golem's Limb shotgun.

I got it last night but trashed it for the mod and logged off. But thinking about it more it might be useful for the Technomancer I'm running now. I have 2 defensive mods on my armor, Mitigation from Death & Emergency Stance. Both of those have been really good for me and being able to add an additional Golem perk to my current weapon might make me near unkillable as long as there are enemies around to slaughter.

Damn, but that would mean I'd have to get rid of either Death Chains or Bone Shrapnel. I can't live without Bone Shrapnel for easier ADD clear but Death Chains adds significant damage, especially for bosses/elites. Hmmm, but Captain Hunter would be a great help with that. Decision, decisions.

Emergny Stance is bugged and getting fixed in the next patch. That weapon mod that gives you Golem for 3's is exactly the same as Emergency Stance.

Absolutely loving the Pyro. The sheer damage output is fairly crazy. I was three levels under the CT tier and could stil dish out enough damage to take down an alpha in a couple of hits.
Cheers to menace-uk- cor helping me to steamroll all the way to CT10 tonight.

Switched out Emergency Stance for Captain Hunter and swapped out Death Chains for Golem Rising. This setup seems to be working for me. I'm on WT10 running 2 turrets so most things are frozen while I play target practice. So far I haven't had too much trouble soloing. I have to upgrade my gear though because its about 2 levels below what I'm facing now.

I want to try out Golem Rising with a Devastator bleed/shotgun build. That should be fun.

In my experience soloing is fine until you hit tier 12. All 3 of my characters did great until tier 12. To really push I had to grind for legendary armour sets. I should say all my characters are Anomoly builds.
